People really need to STOP WHINING for drug store products on higher end make-up channels. You can’t expect her to recommend what she doesn’t know or doesn’t use. There are plenty of drug store channels or channels who review both drugstore and high end and can recommend dupes. I can’t buy everything she mentioned either. But I really enjoyed the video anyway and took notes of the characteristics / what type of product I could use. Keep up the good work Andreea ❤️

For those who say that these products are expensive, I believe she's not wrong recommending them. Lot of beginners buy so many crap products and they end up spending the same money on some things that are not even that good. At least they buy just one thing that is good, will be used a lot and will last for a very long time.

This. People are impatient bc they’d rather not save up and instead buy the cheaper products multiple times over time which ends up just being more expensive in the long run with poor quality results. They ask what products they can get to improve the quality of their makeup, and then complain when it’s pricey. 🤦🏻♀️ (Edit: That’s not to say there aren’t good quality low cost products, but you cannot fault a professional for recommending tried and true products.)

Hi Andreea ,thank you for being here in this time of restrictions and social distancing. It's like having a friend that has dropped by . And of course, thank you for your video , I really appreciate your suggestions. I started to apply makeup a couple of years ago( I'm 61 now ) and you have been my best teacher. I try to take my time every morning and I even get up earlier just to have enough time to apply my makeup before going to work. I go for something light but I agree with you: it's empowering and relaxing and it has become one of the pleasures of my life!

I found cream blush much easier as a beginner. Pretty much anything you can use your fingers with at first! Being pale, pink-nude lips were are no-go but a sheer berry works quite well. 😊

It’s so interesting you say that foundation protects your skin. Me and a girlfriend who have worked in cosmetics for 10+ years started to notice during the Covid lock down that our skin was looking horrible. We went wearing make up because we weren’t working or leaving the house. We BOTH thought that our skin looked healthier and had less break outs when we were using foundation regularly. It’s so true that foundations having skincare in them really isn’t a gimmick like people once thought it was.

I wasn't into make up until last november when I turned 30 and I went to Japan as a birthday trip and thought: "I want to look especially good on the trip"... So I watched your "make up mistakes video" to prepare and like 20 more videos from you after that and suddelny I turned into this girly girl who loves to paint on her own face now 5 months later I have 25 brushes and 30 products... And its so fun! This was a very good video, I wish I saw that in November though since I did struggled a bit at the beginning..

I simply LOVE your tips! As a former makeup artist, and someone who currently wears barely any makeup, I agree with your considerations about quality, packaging and the amount of products to have. I agree too, foundations may have beneficial ingredients for our skin, plus I think that when we wear full face makeup we take care of our skin, I mean double cleanse, more consistent skincare routine...

I love blush too. It’s my favorite part of doing makeup. I think it’s because I feel the most beautiful naturally when I’ve been outside in the snow or on the beach and I always have rosy cheeks then.

What she said was true. Since I started using foundation everyday, I didn’t had any breakouts. Then when the quarantine starts and I stayed at home for 2 weeks and my pimples started to pop up, so because of my stress i tried to put make inside the house while working at home and my breakouts started to heal. I don’t know if it’s the foundation or concealer. And i watch this video, now my questions are answered. Thank you pretty Andreea 💋

I love that I found your channel. You are so knowledgeable and have such a realistic approach. I have not really ever worn makeup and I am now 51 and I think I need to start. I watched so many videos of other "influencers" and basically spent a small fortune, not even knowing what I was doing... I wish I found you first. But I am glad for both because I now have a lot of expensive products and you can teach me how to apply them. I am mostly concerned with the texture of my skin aging and complexion products settling into lines and making me look older.

I love blush too! You know how they say NOT to smile too much when you're applying blush...I can't help it. I automatically smile when I bring out the blush. I love it so much. 💕☺

Your shade choices were phenomenal. That Givenchy color for lips! Oh la la! There must be less expensive options, but I appreciate your choices and being "girly" and liking things beautiful. Your tone, accent, and refinement are much appreciated. There are SO many beauty channels, but yours is set apart. :) Lastly, I would love, love, love a dupes video for these shades! This was really good for beginners. It was nice for you to show high end and low end options and noted the formula consistencies of each product. It was a good reference for makeup shopping.

i'm almost 35 and I only applied lipstick, mascara, blush and rarely a bb cream until last year!! and the reason was that I have hooded eyes and I found it worthless to do eyeshadows as they were not going to show. thanks to youtube I'm learning the game, my friends congratulate me and ask me for advice in makeup now!! You and Wayne Goss are my top references, thank you so much!!

I can promise as a 64 year old who has worn makeup daily since the mid seventies just having that covering will protect your skin from major sun damage. We didnt know about SPF but I wore foundation and powder and blush from the very beginning and even when I went to the beach I wore a waterproof foundation. Today I do not have wrinkles. My skin is smooth and firm around my eyes and my forehead does not have any lines. Today I use a sunscreen and I still wear my makeup everyday. So protect good people.

This is the second video I see from you and I love your way of teach, totally subscribed :) and by the way after 5 weeks of rarely use any make up, literally like 5 times in those 5 weeks (when normally I wear it everyday) I agree that foundation protects the skin! I

Literally just found you and I'm learning so much, and you know most of what your left side is I pretty much do, I recently thought why am I even putting makeup on when I look better without it but alot of your answers have made me realize what I'm doing wrong 🤞🙌
