2022 is the year of the MPVs here in the Philippines, since most carmakers came out with all-new models of their multi purpose vehicles. We compare 6 of the most popular MPVs here. The Toyota Avanza, the Mitsubishi Xpander, the Honda BRV, the Suzuki Ertiga, the Nissan Livina and the Hyundai Stargazer will all compete in this first ever Reygan's Rides ultimate showdown. In this Filipino car review, we take a look at 4 all-new models, the Toyota Avanza G, the Hyundai Stargazer GLS, the Nissan Livina VL and the Honda BR-V VX. These four MPVs are all-new, but they will go against 2 mainstays in the category, the Mitsubishi Xpander GLS and the Suzuki Ertiga GL. This video may be long, but it takes an in depth look at the 6 MPVs, following the Reygan's Rides categories. At the end of the video, we shall rank the Toyota Avanza G, Mitsubishi Xpander GLS, Suzuki Ertiga GL, Honda BRV VX, Nissan Livina VL and the Hyundai Stargazer GLS to see which MPV gets the most points in this comparo. The Toyota Avanza G is the only vehicle here that i did not get to drive, but since it has the weakest engine, it takes last place in the drive segment. The Honda BR-V featured here is the base spec S, but since the looks and features are almost the same, it should not be an issue. The Toyota Avanza here is also the Avanza E and not the Avanza G. Other than that, the Hyundai Stargazer GLS, the Mitsubishi Xpander GLs, the Nissan Livina VL, and the Suzuki Ertiga GL are all top-spec variants. I did not include the Toyota Veloz and the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross or the Suzuki XL7 because these are classified as SUVs.
