I do tons of wood work and started to sketch up a computer desk idea (L shape) and remembered Jay had a nice setup. Didn't wanna do the exact same design so I started looking around at tops and drawers etc. ended up finding some nice stuff. Drew up the design and got all the measurements how I wanted and realized...ITS EXACTLY THE SAME AS JAYS! (different dimensions and color scheme of course but same style.) The weight displacement of the semi useless drawer in the back (tried to find a workaround and this makes the most sense), the layout of the tops so on and so forth to a tee. Jay you have earned my sub from the fact that your wood work and cleverness is SPOT ON! I tip my hat to you Sir one handy man to another.

I just finished a new desk here and used the same drawers and loved the idea of the couch feet to raise the desk a little. Thank you for that inspiration! I used the small cabinet unit from the Alex series on one side because it already has a cable management hole in the back - most of the wiring goes through there now ;)

Looks and seems to fit you perfect. That is the most important thing in the end. You always seem like the type of person who is easy going about most things and that is why I like watching the most. I also love the out takes and bloopers at the ends of your vids.

this looks absolutely amazing between this and some of the setups you guys have reviewed it's really inspiring me to start caring about how my desk looks right now even though i'm a tech nerd and care about the internal aspects of my pc, i've always just been a little too lazy (and broke) to get a really nice setup but i'm kinda feeling all in now on finding affordable solutions and honestly even though it's resulting in me spending money i probably shouldn't, i want to thank you because i'll have a space i can feel proud of XD

This setup looks so awesome! I’m building my first pc which will be put in my drum room and double as a gaming/recording rig. This is definitely a huge inspiration as I would like to have some sim racing gear at some point too. I can’t wait!

I put rubber lenses and a shelf from the tool store on a cheap furniture and a Sansui QRX-6500 on the very left so the weight is partially absorbed vertically to the floor. It does not bend down.

10:00...Love the setup bro. I have a Bose soundbar 900 in my living room with the bass module 700 and the virtually invisible 300 surround speakers and it's sounds amazing. I love having the alexa integration. Even at 20% volume on the bass module, the rumble of the bass is insane with action movies.

Really live the style of this room. It has lights and some neon but actually still looks like it isn't a 15 year old room or some Chinese gaming cafe or something. I finally just got my own house and have a designated room to make into a games room! Going to save the video for style inspiration for sure. Though, hearing all of the various product names from each different thing makes me really realise I have a lot to learn in order to get my room to be high quality 😮

Now that’s a room to isolate in.. it’s definitely lacking a beer fridge, coffee machine and snack draw just incase them energy levels drop during a gaming session. Great man cave Jay, wish I had the space to do the same.

Hi Jay, Just a piece of advice, having used a quiet dynamic mic with the Focusrite Solo, you will need a cloudlifter or something else like it inline to boost the signal more so you aren't introducing noise from the preamps. The SM7b needs a lot of amplification to drive it properly. Also, with the PSA1, I know you're handy with a soldering iron, take the plug apart and desolder the wires from it, then you can run the cable through the arm for a much cleaner look as opposed to velrco strapping it down to the top. I have done that with my arm and it looks good. Anyway, that is my twocents.

A movie projector, mini fridge, a cube like shelf with brodcasting all your retro gaming consoles. a small monitor that's hooked up to a security system outside so you can monitor anything that goes on from the comfort of your man cave, it be kinda funny to have the clapper installed for the lights, a fingerprint door lock

Jay, I have to say that this video earned you so much respect from me. You're at a point in your life that you can actively do something like this, make a full-on gaming room, explore your hobbies and things you enjoy, and that's what's really important at the end of the day, no? Being able to enjoy the time you have. I hope that someday I can have a proper setup like this and enjoy my time to the fullest, though I do already have a blast as it is with my scrapped together setup and live streaming with friends.

DrelsTwoCents, went right with the HS monitors and SM7b, im rocking HS8's , KA6 , Shure SM7B and people love the way i sound, and the yamaha monitors make it crisp
