Sadako, Chucky… and Pennywise. The three I always wanted in DBD. The three that scared the heck out of me in my childhood. I’m still hoping for Pennywise.

Pennywise is my 2nd most wanted killer in the game. I've made my own concept for him too. I really hope he comes in eventually. :(

I think Tim Curry is the true Pennywise and most accurate to the books. It would be soo cool if for some reason they went with the original Pennywise. It would be more scary. But I know they’ll go with the Bill skarsgard especially with welcome to derry coming out soon. I still love the modern IT’s and Pennywise is my favorite horror character. Pennywise would be legendary on DBD.

The sewer that spawned into Backwater that people are thinking was scrapped could absolutely be something that is used for a potential “The Casting of Frank Stone” chapter this upcoming March. Considering the next full chapter containing a map, a killer, and a survivor will be revealed this coming March, there’s a possibility that The Casting of Frank Stone could be released around the same time. The last two chapters being licensed insinuates that the next full chapter will be original. The Casting of Frank Stone may very well line up nicely with that! The sewer could be an asset reused for a map associated with The Casting of Frank Stone. In the trailer, 4 survivors approach and enter what looks like a sewer under or near by the Steel Mill.

Oh and also Fortnite teased Pennywise with a balloon in the sewer years ago! Seeing how Fortnite and DbD get similar licenses I think it’s easy assume both companies tried getting Pennywise and both lost the licenses because Pennywise was never put into Fortnite after teased.

I remember in the past that Stephen king has said multiple times that he hates video games and doesn’t want any of his creations put into a video game. You would have to wait for his death before this becomes a reality. The closest thing we got to a Stephen king character is gunslinger based off one of his books.

I wanna say, to all the people who were claiming that BHVR needed to get the IT license before it went to Stephen King, that's a fucking terrible idea and would have been a nightmare for BHVR past the immediate release. If WB gave BHVR Pennywise, then transferred the rights to King, then BHVR would have to go through King to make any changes to the character. Not only that, but once the license expired, King would be able to pull a Netflix and take Pennywise out of the game entirely if he so wished. It would be a short term thing, BHVR would be unable to make cosmetics or reworks to Pennywise as a killer, and if King didn't want to play ball he'd either be removed from the game entirely, or he'd be the new Freddy. EDIT: Speaking of Freddy, BHVR needs to avoid dealing with the same people who let them license Freddy in the first place. They don't have a good track record, and if the Welcome to Derry Pennywise is held by anyone even remotely responsible for Freddy's contract, BHVR needs to just avoid them. They've already proven themselves to be unreasonable and overly stingy.

I always think new killers hint at what they’re working on for future ones, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Xeno’s tunnels are a prelude to Pennywise using sewers to traverse maps. The Halloween event with that pocket realm also feels like a way to test for where Vecna in Stranger Things could take survivors to hook them.

pennywise would make a great killer, maybe with some shape shifting power? maybe using deadlights instead of hooks?

Still believe that the canceled chapter that is talked about in this video was candyman. In that video he said that he would tell Paulie esther specifically. Whom is notorious for being a huge candyman fan. Bringing up the licensing for remake Freddy, in the latest version of DBD (i think specifically 7.4.1), something interesting happened in the store, previously, Quentin and Freddy displayed nothing at the bottom of their store selections, however, now they specifically say 1/1. When Stranger Things was removed, this section was also blanked out, not showing any additional cosmetic options. It probably means nothing and is just a UI change, but it could potentially mean that new cosmetics for Freddy and Quentin are in development.

I wouldn't mind 1. Predator - Use net, disk etc 2. Gumiho - Can transform into a survivor (no heartbeat, can pull down pallets etc) 3. Nazgul - Can collect rings increasing power (shorten skill cooldown) I guess put a limiter tho survivors can first get the rings gaining small boosts but if hooked the ring goes to the killer making him stronger. They can choose to ignore the ring but it permeates a debuff if not picked up etc

The fact my top 2 DBD licenses seem like pipe dreams saddens me. Those being IT and a fnaf chapter. My 3rd most wanted chapter was the Alien franchise that I’m glad we got.

They should give him a teleport ability whenever a survival is within a specific proximity of his balloon he sees there aura and can teleport back to it. Similar to the hag

Story wise, the Entity isn’t powerful enough to take IT into his realm. If anything, IT would likely take the Entity and torture him or feed on him. If IT sees the Entity as someone he could use, maybe they would work together.

IT is a dream chapter for me but it’s one of the only licenses I don’t see coming to the game sadly.

I would hope they use the classic tim curry version which is by far the scarest. As a pennywise fanatic. I absolutely hatebthe new version. It looks like a kid whose retarded. Not scary and trying way too hard to make the clown look scary. The bright colors of the classic clown and the piercing stare sends shivers to the core. Tim curry was the first and perfected it. You cant wipe him away no more than replacing chucky with the 2019 version. Love mark hamill but brad dourif is classic

I want them to get the original Freddy Kruger so bad but I doubt it ever happens. I hope they at least make the old killers a lot better if they are never going to add anymore content for the Og licenses.

As someone who's HUGE into the lore... I cannot see this working, from a lore perspective. Pennywise is a god-creature, much like the Entity, and an emotion eater, much like the Entity. If anything, the Entity would likely view Pennywise as a rival for resources -- a much smaller predator than the Entity to be sure, but still feeding off the emotions that are rightfully the Entity's.
