I think I have a possible reason for the removal of security gamepass ,the gun.People would have used them for hijacking RP's and other things,and the guns could be really annoying if they damaged you as they could camp plane spawns and kill you each time,If that happened to players every time they joined it would be more than likely they would quit at a time where PTFS was not popular meaning even less players would discover the game.Yeah,my explanations make 0 sense.

Amazing video! Just want to point out that the person who has the highest flown minutes in PTFS is actually 2SAM_GS with over 500,000 flight minutes flown in PTFS.

The point why Lufthansa was added to concorde is bc it had orders that Lufthansa wanted concordes but the order never came.

Fun fact. Orange didnt want the game to be shut down because of the airliner names so orange changed them to random names. Ex: Delta--->Belta United--->Renunited The call signs *WAS* also changed accordingly to their airline

Perfect video to introduce me to this game. Can you play as all jets at the start or not? Also the story is VERY similar to Microsoft Flight Simulator (which is funny because they are just flight sims😅) also you uploaded this a day earlier than my birthday lol

Bulls, you should've added this; When the catapult/carrier landing update came out, orange had the F-15 as a test plane to do it. however he forgot to remove the tailhook on it, so for a day or 2 the F-15 was carrier capable Fun fact: F-15s in real life have tailhooks for emergency landings at airbases

26:02 By a promotion at air cadets, he doesn’t mean a job. Air Cadets is a British youth organisation partially funded by the Royal Air Force. Kids from 13-18 can join. By promotion, he probably means that he’s trying to get a higher rank. (Corporal, Sergeant etc). He may also be an adult volunteer.

If you are in an A380 near Gr the lake infront of the runways (When you takeoff from R36 you will fly over) you will still have control of the plane because the gears are too high for the engine to turn off

Bulls, you might know about this, but just thought I would tell you. So I was doing an AC130 test range rp near perth. And basically I found a red outline that looked just like the firefighter testing place, I thought it was some sort of field until I watched this video. Idk if what I saw means anything or if it is that fire safety pad thing but it looked a lot like it.

Missed this: around mid 2020 and probably before, you could fly any gamepass aircraft without buying the gamepass, all you needed was someone to spawn the plane, such as the sr71 or air force one.

I remember the orange decal, when you hovered over it would make farting noises or airhorn noises but I can’t fully remember, but I used to do it all the time before I started playing.

The funny noise and the orange decal thing was in the 2015 version of PTFS, when you hovered over it it would say HERR DERR, the noise would be a meme sound that would go like "a herr, derr derr derr derr." If you know the sound, you know.

Pilot training rescue squadron is a really fun game and we just need more people to play it. I found pilot training rescue squadron right around the time I found PTFS.

1 more part that you might not know about,there’s actually an Old,problably not realistic list from 2019 that Orange12345 made,Nobody is sure what the list is for,But considering that a few of the planes on the list are in PTFS now.some have speculated that the list is Actually for planes that orange12345 might add in the future

Things that I want PTFS to add: 1. Destruction physics 2. F-5 tiger 3. Dangerous weather (Tsunamis, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Waterspouts, ETC) 4.Missiles and guns 5.Emergency slides and emergency lights 6. SR-72 Darkstar 7. Control the amount of engines you turn on/off 8. U-2 spy plane

Lufthansa Concorde I think is a reference to Man in the High Castle (clearly in the series, it was not Lufthansa livery, but still) Edit: A note, but over my time checking out the group and the games, I think that the aircraft development game IS the airshow game, just remade and rebranded, because I recall the airshow game had a section all the way across the hangar that served as the development region.

TIPS:add emergency water slides so if you crash in the water you can deploy them. make it so emergencys can happen like the engine gets on fire or oil spill.

What kinda bugs me about the whole ‘changing the names to avoid copyright violations’ is that other flight sims have the names intact. MSFS (my sim of choice) has monetised livery packs with the real names, GeoFS has brands straight out of the box, dare I mention its competitors on Roblox itself, Project Flight and Aeronautica. Was there a specific airline that objected to its likeness being used like this?

The game honestly wasn't "built off" Sleitnick's plane kit but more a modified version of it. The HUD is different and has a few extra features, but other than that? Not much. One of the most important things in their game: A. Wasn't made by them B. Was barely modified

Lufthansa was going to buy a Concorde but sth happened (idrk) and denied it at a very late moment. so you will often see lufthansa concorde models

'Lufthansa initially ordered 3 Concordes along with many other countries. 74 were ordered in total and deposits paid, but they were fully refundable and indeed refunded. Only BA and AF owned any. There were many charter flights including those in the Singapore Airlines half-livery before they too scrapped plans. The SA aircraft were intended to continue through to Australia. Qantas had also planned to buy 2 originally. Edit: Article from Feb 19 1973: "BREMEN, West Germany, Feb. 19 (UPI)-A Lufthansa executive said today the West German national airline had had second thoughts about buying the Concorde supersonic jet airliner. Reinhard Abraham, a Lufthansa board member, told newsmen his company has had a “skeptical view” toward the French‐British‐built aircraft for some time. He said a decision on Lufthansa's withdrawing three options for the plane might be made as soon as next week. In Lufthansa's opinion, he said, the Concorde's “payload and range do not yet meet requirements." '- Read on reddit
