The reason why you got a lot of overpens on DDs is because Edgar doesn't get a reduced arming threshold compared to the rest of the british light cruisers. It only arms on 25mm of armour, while minotaur needs only 12mm of armour.

Yep, it's a real drawback compared to Mino, a reason why I didn't get Edgar.

@@AllAhabNoMoby In reality its not a drawback at all. The extra DPM makes up for it + most of the time the DD wont stay full broadside and the shells will arm with no problem. Also the much better armor layout should be enough encouragment to get Edgar.

@@alvaropindado1804 100% agree, the sheer amount of firepower combined with the funny button that provides even more damage is more than enough to overcome lack of short fuse AP. Combine that with stealth radar and you're extremely adept at murdering dd's.

Hey Potato. I just wanted to say that I have slowly unfollowed and asked to not see many other Wows players on KZfaq. So many of them have huge egos, seem angry all the time and mock the player base. As a player I know the times I stuff up or the things I'm not good at yet, and I know those youtubers would be sitting in my battle making fun of me and or being angry at how I ruined their game. And then there is you. You are so chill, humble and entertaining to watch. So well done on being the only one I still watch.

The funny button gives you extra pen I believe, would have been go to use against that Buffalo pushing into B who turned broadside to you dodging the sub's torpedoes.

Some are quite fun and most of these gimmicks are not quite game breaking but absolutely no reason for tier 9 to see them. If they make it so it's just tier 10/11 I'm sure they'll be much better. But screw super cv's and I do t even hate cv's normally.

Edgar isn't good with radar. It's too big and clumsy compared to Mino

Good game Potato. I don't have any of the super ships yet and have been thinking of getting a cruiser. Do you recommend any of them? Have you been able to determine what the break even point is when playing these ships?

you can just click on it in the tech tree and hit the view in port option and see it yourself.

Im really glad if my flank opponent was edgar in my long range conde builds because edgar are very easy to kill using conde the main problem is the 30km undetected Satsuma salvo lol it scares me 😂

It's not a consumable. It's the burst fire mode found on some ships. If activated, you get lots of dakka now, but pay for it with a battleship reload time...

I dunno man. I'm fan of alpha damage. 880 hits for 226 damage ... That's 250 hp per shell. Pretty low. Not my thing.

Can't play tier11 (12???), They're way to expensive maintenance wise for a f2p with no economic bonuses (btw, only have Annapolis so far with a 3 points captain... Useless lol). Even the T10's may get hard to pay for maintenance (my des Moines and Shimakase drain my credits 🥺). So, from my POV, Greta game the one u present to us. Thanks Cheers

You can farm enough captain exp as a free to play player to not have to deal with a 3 point captain (you should AT THE VERY LEAST pay for a 6 point captain and use commander xp to get it to 10) lol that's on you but I do agree they are a little bit too credit hungry. I can usually profit with a premium account and minor eco bonuses but without any help they can be a little draining. You shouldn't have any problems paying for tier 10s tho, I make so much money at tier 10 that's probably an issue with your performance more than anything else.

@@krimson459 yes, my "performance" is poor (to say the least lol), and yes, one can farm captain exp as a f2p... But that means playing with that captain/ship, a ruinous experience for the rest of my team mates lol

@@MrTidjon You get plenty of elite commander exp just from playing the game (collecting crates, login bonuses, battle pass, etc.) there is no excuse to using a 3 point commander, especially not with the ability to buy a 6 point one with credits alone which are easy to make even as a free to play account.
