Hostess Coffee Cakes is the most underrated thing here. so super soft and moist and packed with cinnamon sugar flavor. they're so good.

@@chrys8478 They are too sweet. The boxed ones are better than the bigger ones because the icing can fatigue and coat your mouth. But its not as bad as the rest on this list. The true versatility of a honey bun is how you can bake them and make it taste nearly like a different thing. Its consistently good cold and warm like a poptart.

Honey Buns are so good! The thing that I like the most about them though is that you can have them during any meal of the day, whether that’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and it’d be completely normal!

Do you have Drakes cakes in your area? They make vastly superior versions of all the Hostess cakes - Rings Dings, Yodels, Fruit Pies, and Coffee Cakes (famously shown on Seinfeld) are ones of note. Come up to the Northeast and try some!
