Awesome video and props to the car a clean well put together hatch I'm more of the twisty roads kind of guy but if I could afford 2 builds I'd have a drag Honda such potential and my ultimate daily street car would be a integra type r engine and transmission swap in my em1 with a kraftwerks supercharger

Excellent and this Civic is well thought out. Torque steer was expected, especially with that kind of power with FF platform. I consider those the best Civics ever. Double wishbone suspension, and lightweight was a treat. I remember when these were first being turbo'd. I had an Si with a T3 turbo and it made nowhere near that much power, but I also didn't have a B-Series engine in 1993. Ahhh my 20's !!

Thanks for showing the car and listing some of the details. Great Street Car, not too much power and not too little, enough to have fun! BTW, I think I was suppose to race that car way back in the day when I had my allmotor daily driven 95’ VX EG Hatch 87.5x99 (13.7:1) 24/20 on E85, but never got the chance 😞 .. Personal Best 10.97@122mph All Motor .. kept blowing my tranny and clutch so I ended up parting it out and then went back B Series All Motor 85x89 (12.5:1) B20V on pump 91 11.79@115mph .. Nonetheless, if this is the same car, then it’s great to see it again (alive/well kept) still clean as always! Loving it! If not, I apologize for assuming.. haha

This is a clean hatch!! This is what should be on the streets instead of the majority of half assed junk hatches. I too had a 92 CX and it was an awesome car that I absolutely loved. Z6 swapped, turbo with the supporting mods and a bunch of other goodies but nothing crazy. Sadly like most of these in the early to mid 2000's it was stolen never to be seen again. I'll have another one of these days for sure.

This car reminds me of this coupe civic that was built a lot like this that got me to love fwd boost cars. Its absolutely terrified me sitting in the back while my buddy was doing a street tune. I like Honda's but I'm happy with my ecotec's. Those #'s at the strip are pretty close to my stock SS/TC. I can't wait to build my base model balt into a project much like this. Damn those $$$ LoL yes I do have to cobalts!

Needs some weight in the front. Add 60 to 80 pounds via a steel plate behind the bumper and you will probably run high 9's. Traction = waaaay better 60 foot times, which means better times of course. Take a look at what boosted boiz did with the turbo hatch.

13 second 1/4 isn’t slow at all. However for 500 hp in a 2400 pound car, it should easily be hitting 11’s low 12’s at the most. Like you said traction is an issue though.

Using a trap speed vs vehicle weight calculator that Civic has no way near 500hp. More like 360hp at the engine and around 300hp at the wheels. If it was a genuine 500hp at the wheels it would be pulling easy low 11 second 1/4's even with a poor 60 foot time.
