Hi Bill, just discovered your channel. Dude, wow. Up late last night, "I'll just watch one more video" - before you know it, it's 4am! Been skating since 2001 but your videos have opened up a whole new world of possibilities - and lots of pieces of the jigsaw puzzle of technique that I had been missing. My son and daughter are learning now and your videos are so helpful (speed technique, stops, padding up to practice etc). Amazing fun getting the next generation into skating. Bill, you just provoked another lurking viewer out of their shell: I'm Marcel, 27 y/o German from near Hamburg and I already got so excited about this skate when I first looked it up after your first mentioning of it a couple of weeks ago. I never looked through the adapt homepage before that, got me so hyped! "But the price man, can I afford them?", I thought. Well, a lot has happened in the past two weeks financially for me and after watching this video I cannot contain it in me that I might actually be able to comfortably buy them, even sooner rather than later! And I wanted to share that with you as this is very surreal for a millenial college dropout that watches you since (had to look this up just now) the 5th of June 2020, when I stumbled upon your channel due to my revisit of my teenager hobby: aggressive inline skating! Because you're what made this skate happen and hopefully get supported through a purchase of these and you are who inspires me that it doesn't have to be aggressive inline skating with grinds and ramps and stuff but still be able to have an exciting experience! (while I got older I noticed last year when getting into it again, that I became way too pragmatic to be re-learning skating in skateparks. Much rather want to go as efficiently through the city as possible, exploring new lines constantly while learning my surroundings inside out. Another thank you for establishing the term for this that I find is fitting: assault skating). A question about the wheels of the GTB: Which hardness do the 84mm as well as the 100mm wheels have? That info is I believe the only thing not mentioned on adapt's site about it. And for constructive feedback on this video: I don't know if a lot of ppl commend you for this but it's very apparent to me (for reference: been working employed full-time for YT video production for coming up to 4 years soon): Your video editing gets more and more advanced in terms of cuts, sound queue's, audio fades as well as the visual "golden thread" (hope this translates correctly. I just translated the german saying of this, no experience in using it, yet). The cut at 11:02 is so satisfying and far from obvious to be decided this way. So, to me, that's a great example that your creative eye is getting soo advanced in this stuff, it became worth mentioning it to you for me, just in case others haven't, yet! Greetings from northern Germany, keep doing you because it rubs off on me so much in a positive way and I'm sure others as well!

Wow! Bill congratulations! I starting inline skating because of you. Learning from your tutorial videos on Utube. I was 53 then and homeless living in my truck in San Diego Ca. Bought an old pair of Rollerblades for 15 bucks at a GoodWill. 59 now and never stopped skating and never plan too now living in Everett Wa. I bought my first pair of expensive skates from Skaters Place based on your recommendation. Your new skate is F--king Dope! It looks like I know what my next skate purchase will be! Never to old to stay low. 😌

I remember the early days of your videos with the hockey skates....fast forward and the inline skate designers have been busy pushing the boundaries and the result is this very sleek looking Adapt GTB skate. I am definitely saving up for this set up. I just got my GC HD 80 II and the speed and power took me back to my youth. I’m 37 and haven’t skated since I was 16 and I’m back. Just skated 4 miles in 12 min. I think that’s good for being 6’1 250 lbs.
