@@Dirkey for sure! plus some people think that they must own waaay much more than what is really needed to do a perfect job. Mike Dean still uses the stock ProTools EQ in all of his sessions.

to any new producers out there, you dont need all these vsts n plugins n shit. 1 or 2 is aight dont get me wrong but Ive made bout 1k selling beats and gotten a few placements in my first year of producing so far with ONLY xpand2 and some free plugins. Equipment is also not needed fr, i only got a 5 yr old slow ass laptop and a pair of stolen old airpods... all this materialism unnecessary

the fact that you put kontakt in b-tier and analog lab in c-tier makes this damn near my favorite tier video for plugins. its so honest fasho fasho. too many videos where mfs put purity in s-tier cause its an og. like so??? we got new shit now lmao. and portal?? i will say thats uh lil insane. i love portal. it helps add crazy movement and textures to some of the elements frfr. but then again this was uh truly honest video and i madly respect that

you trippin on portal gang! it’s great for pads, and smearing melodies, you really should just play with some of the presets when you use pads, back grounds or melodies. hell it works good on chords too tbh. it’s great when you need a solid “filler” or background pad to make the beat sound full, great with ambience ! good on spacey type beats, or beats now a days with dark vibes. copy a pattern on to a pad or bells and add this….just a good vibey fill. instant dark vibes lol

I respect you putting portal in D tier cause I get why you don’t like it. But once you have a set melody, try going through the presets and start the mixer knob at 0 for each and slowly slide it up. It can be a nice cherry on top and can also be an easy way to add variation. Solid video

I have been waiting to get omnispehere, but i heard it kills your CPU...guess i will need to render it out. Need to research SRX...this review is excellant...the diss on Fl was just hilarious. I will definitely be getting omnisphere this year. I was looking to get UV analog synths. Portal, i didnt get it either...i got it and hardly ever use it.
