What could possibly go wrong? Starting in Dundee Steve travels clockwise, and I travel anti-clockwise in this epic challenge to see who gets back to Dundee first. It's not all about speed, as there is a cost challenge and assorted challenges along the way. We both visit Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Fort William, Glasgow and Inverness in what was probably the most physically challenging journey of my life.

Thanks for the video Scott, I enjoyed. Not sure if you realised but you didn't need to walk to Renfrew Street for the challenge because when you got off the bus in Edinburgh, you were walking down the street from the opening scene from Trainspotting.

Congratulations on winning the challenge, definitely seems to be the better option to go anti-clockwise as having watched Steve’s version the lack of onward travel options overnight in Aberdeen when you could keep going between Glasgow and Edinburgh made all the difference.

@steve-marsh @PlanesTrainsEverything It’s amazing how much time you guys spend on buses, trains and every other mode of transport to entertain the viewers. Challenges/races are always a great watch. I know you both like a challenge so if either or both of you are interested in doing a Bus v Train v Bike challenge/race get in touch and I can fill you in on the details. I am looking for someone to do the bus and train routes while I bike it. Multiple stops over one day what could go wrong!

A great celebration of travel and if it encourages more people to pick random destinations then you are both winners. My trip this week was to Berlin, a city I have visited before, but this time I followed the route of the former Berlin Wall through the city. So much to see even after over 30 years. It would make a great video. Good luck for the next challenge.

For the Rythm challenge you could just have recorded the weather in Fort William. "Listen to the Rythm of the Falling Rain" A song by the Cascades from 1962.

You mentioned Inverness as a stop on your way. Culloden battlefield is near there and was a film location. Of course, there must be TV series and films made in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Good luck

Really enjoyed the challenges. Just watched both journeys Steve first the yours Scott , the no sleep idea was tough but that’s why you won . Well done 🎉 as I said on Steve’s platform next year let us know what date you are doing this , and maybe for balance you should do clockwise and anti-clockwise each maybe over 2 days with a no travel clause say from 11pm to 7am !

Scott, I enjoy all your videos, but this has been the best yet. I'm looking forward to looking at Steve's tomorrow. I also know how you try to get the facts right in your videos, so I'll put my shipping enthusiast hat on. The Discovery was never a commissioned warship, so was never HMS. She was titled RRS, which stands for Royal Research Ship, in 1925 before going on a scientific cruse to the Antarctic. She was built at Dundee, being launched in 1901 and was the last three masted wooden ship to be built in the UK. I think you might find the rest of her history of interest and in that case Wikipedia is your friend.

Scott I have watched both your and Steve's videos of this challenge. Also I am thinking of may be doing a challenge with three travel KZfaqrs, of traveling from Belfast to London on a Sail and Rail ticket using each of the 4 Irish Sea Stena Line routes.
