i feel like the majority grew up with tiga or dyna me included. But my personal favorite was Leo, dude had so much swag to him lmao. Plus the soundtrack to Leo is top notch

I remember as a child, my first ultraman series was ultraman cosmos and I was addicted to it, I had t-shirts and ultraman cosmos toys. Ultraman zero was the last series I've got to watch and I didn't regret my decisions as a child.

Since when did ultraman turn into kamen rider series? And what's with the over-the-top armor/weapon/transform they used? I think the last that really kind of sticks to ultraman theme was mebius. After that, all are toys-like ultraman.

I grew up with Taro, Dyna, Cosmos and Zero but my most fav is Dyna bcs Asuka is such a loveable dork. I still sing their op and ending till this day, Ribut too since I watch Upin & Ipin

Its funny how we got Nexus after Cosmos. A kind Ultraman that wants to help kaijus by saving and easing their pain to an Ultraman which left no none of them alive.

I only watched tiga, dyna & gaia back when I was a kid. Never knew the franchise kept going 😂 I was so shocked when I saw the Netflix series, cause it was more gundam than the ultraman I knew.

I always loved tiga since his show's designs and everything felt so biker like, from the uniforms of the TPC to the vehicles, plus tiga's sky type is purple and you don't see that at all with it typically blue for many mircle/speed type transformations

I'll never get tired of that 3 tier animation. I'm old, when I was a kid I remember crying when Ultraman's gem started blinking and going "No don't die please!" And he'd start kicking ass. It's cheap, stupid and I adore it

Why are y’all complaining about them selling toys? I’m pretty sure no one here would want to see a shitty Ultraman show with bad effects and various stuff looking horribly off. Just because they’re using the current shows to sell toys doesn’t mean that an Ultraman show is automatically bad. Stop using the toy-selling as an excuse to say the shows are bad, and instead, talk about the actual plots of the shows instead.

I watched every ultraman, but i must say after ultraman zero, it just turned into kamen rider 2.0. The movie doesnt have lores anymore, it definitely changed their aim of age to younger kids.

Some Showa fans reaction to Heisei series at the time: “WTF IS WRONG WITH RECENT ULTRAMAN? Why does it have purple color in its design? WTF is this type change thing? Ultraman in my era didn’t have to do that!This is not an Ultraman anymore” Some Heisei fans reaction to New Generation series: “WTF IS WRONG WITH RECENT ULTRAMAN? Why does it have armor thing in its design? They are all toys like just like Kamen Rider! This is not an Ultraman anymore” I know that big changes in the long franchise can cause controversy among old fans, but I found it ironic how some Heisei fans act the same as some Showa fans who complained about Heisei series.
