I mean she explains the problem exactly. They were pushing her to play pretty roles over funnier but less sexy ones. Honestly this explains so much. This is why season 40 sucks so hard.

It's too bad she was never a major player. I'm not sure why she never got promoted on the show but every now and then she would get the lead in a sketch and she is almost always fantastic. My favorite character of hers is Shallon and if you don't know what I'm talking about just do a search for "SNL Shallon" and have fun! She's great!

@@gustafsone I'm sad she left when mulaney left, but she played a friend of his on his show. I liked the show. Yes, it definitely had a Seinfeld feel to it, and it's sad that it failed, but it wasn't bad by any means. A lot of his first Netflix special was in the series. He's just a better story teller than an actor.

His PR and agent made sure it wouldn’t air is my best guess. His Brand, although he himself is a comedian, wants to make jokes not be the joke. In my humble opinion and Im speculating. Sucks tho, cause it’s a spot on caricature of him and I think it actually plays to his comedy.

That was so on point! The voice, the energy, even the facial expression at the end with the head bob. Maybe if the people at SNL see how well received this was, their tune would change.

Partiban Anathurai most muslim states don't have mandatory hijab laws though, literally the vast majority of them. And even in the west most muslim women choose to wear hijabs. Its a choice for the most part.

you're right...she was quietly switched to a new- now cancelled lorne micheal show which lasted 4 episodes, despite already having filled a full season. kim's show is in it's 11 season.; we see who is the true, nasty hack.
