yes, actually written before sao and even with multiple references and hints it only took the author about 15 yrs and 20 volumes of each before he would confirm they were in the same universe.

@@BlackFireWolf13 Kawahara originally wrote SAO the series as a web novel on his website from 2002 to 2008, The light novels began publication imprint from April 10, 2009, Accel World came after SAO in February 2009 to May 2010

@@BlackFireWolf13 I don't think he's officially confirmed that they're set in the same universe yet, but if you start reading some of the more recent volumes of each series, it's sounding more & more legit with almost every new volume the author releases nowadays.

@@Samsapopin it's been known for many years that the universe SAO and AW happen in is in fact the same. what's still unknown to this day is kuroyukihimes real name and whether she is the daughter of kirito and asuna, at least that was a fact when I last cared to check. but since both anime do seem to not get any continuation anyways, who cares, right?

@@mad_scientist2146 The author revealed Kuroyukihime's real name in AW volume 26 & it's Kuroba Sayuki. Atm, we still don't know if she's Kirisuna kid, but Shikimi Kamura gave birth to her with an artificial womb & KYH even said that her parents aren't together; which doesn't really sound like Kirisuna. And they've basically already teased that the SAO anime will continue when War of the Underworld ended, but we still have to wait a few more years because the author hasn't finished writing the Unital Ring arc. AW I'm still surprised they haven't gone back to it since the movie in 2016.

@@ongsoon1336 i the main issue was unfortunately the main hero. where Kirito is so generic that most people can imagine being in his shoes, the short fat Haru was too unlikable to want to fortunately.

Has anyone finished watching The Irregular at Magic High School (Anime) Season 3? If so who's looking forward to seeing the anime film adaptation of the "Yotsuba Succession Arc". I bet it's gonna be pretty cool/interesting and perhaps better then Season 3. Although I hope someday we'll get a The Irregular at Magic High School (Anime) Season 4 after the movie is finished.

A nice list might have to check out a few of them! Yuusha yamemasu is also a good show that people seemed to have skipped or dropped way to early. And the OP is a banger that just adds to it!

I have seen most of these anime you listed in this video. A majority of them I have seen them when they very first came out both sub and dub. My favorites of the bunch are "Is This a Zombie," "Accel World," "Akame ga Kill," and "Btooom!"

I've watched all of "Another" and I felt that it was very well done. It kept me guessing throughout the entire series because I dismissed a clue from an early episode. I've watched a few episodes of Accel World but I'll need to resubscribe to see it all and its sequel. I have "Is this a Zombie" on my watchlist, awaiting my resubscription too. I guess "Knights & Magic" is more popular than I thought, it wasn't on your list, I found the main character quite amusing and it's one of the few isekai where the MC doesn't gain a superpower, he uses his original world skills and knowledge to make his mark in the new world.

Accel World is definitely an anime that I'm still very surprised that it hasn't gotten a season 2 yet. Outside of the Light Novels continuing, SAO adding in some easter eggs/references to it & the SAO vs. Accel World game that released 7 or 6 years ago, they haven't done anything with the franchise other than doing an OVA movie back in 2016 where half of it was just a season 1 recap. Meanwhile, they're still milking SAO till the cows come home. Unless they don't want AW to spoil future events for SAO, it'd be a good time now to bring back AW.

I am definitely checking out Darwin’s game! I’m not watching Another by myself 😅 I’ve pretty much seen everything else and to this day have no idea how they can be underrated, everything on this list is better than most main stream anime out now, I mean if all anime had the same level of animation then this entire list wouldn’t be underrated by any means imo. Is this a zombie has a sequel I have not seen + an OVA for the sequel, well I know what I’m adding to my list.

Does anyone agree that there should be either a Date A Live (Anime) Season 6 or a 2nd Date A Live Movie after Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement someday in the future? Because I really don't want this to be the end of the Date A Live Anime. But I think the Date A Live fans (including those in Japan) should try requesting either a Date A Live Season 6 or a 2nd Date A Live movie to be produced by quickly sending fan letters or starting a fan campaign.

I've never heard of Gamers or Batoom but seen the others and they all could use another season 🥺 A series I think is pretty underrated or doesn't get talked about enough is the A Certain series with Magical Index and Scientific Railgun/Accelerator. Like I think of as the closes thing to like an anime Marvel universe having 3 different series with different characters/ perspectives

all I have to say about that first recommendation is: nomobuyo, oshi, hashtewa, dokeda, gunmicha, deh RIBURA! Is This A Zombie? and Is This A Zombie? Of The Dead are among the very first anime I bought on blu-ray.

Btooom! is the only one I didn't watch when it aired... It was on my radar, just never got round to it. I must say, excellent job of not spoiling Gamers - an absolute must watch comedy which does everything you don't expect!

I'm kinda addicted to mystery/horror and death game anime, by death game I mean anime like Kings Game, Tomodachi Game, Darwin's Game, Btooom, that one with "5 seconds and battle" in it's title, Danganronpa the animation also Danganronpa 3, and a bunch of other anime like those which I forgot the names of

The point system in accel world makes no sense. Each player can only invite one other person to play, and that is the only way to join. You start with 10 points, lose them over time, and mostly only get more points by taking them from others. Go down to zero points, and you are out forever. You see the problem?

I remember watching Accel World as it aired in 2012 with Sword Art Online. It’s so underrated and would like to get more seasons like SAO so I was surprised when they released a movie. I tried to get people to watch Accel World but they refuse to watch it due to the MC being fat.

I remember watching Akame ga kill as it was airing. One friend of mine got a late start on the series. Say about 2 months in until she picked it up. She got attached to Shelle, and everyone in our friend group was laughing cause she didn't know yet. The same friend also got traumatized by the umbrella scene in Another. While I do remember watching and enjoying, is this a zombie. I don't have any funny stories involving my friends with the series.

I watched 3 of these anime and can I just say this is spectacular. I rate them 9/10 on all of the ones I watched. I rate it just like any movie or tv show so it ain’t flawed. 10 is masterpiece and i could argue that they are 10s but Vinland saga, Violet evergreen are masterpieces. There are more but I can’t really think of them at the moment 🙃

3 years ago akame ga kill is around the 10th anime i watched, and it’s one of the best imo. I just really jelled with everything. I don’t understand why people dislike it. Just in case. I watched it dubbed, some shows are better in subbed but it’s rare. I think for me the subs go to fast. Also earphones is a must. It make the quality of all anime sound better.

Also more underrated shows imo with some type description Snow White with red hair, romantic, I forgot how much it was, but I do just Cherish a love story, Higehiro mature, don’t get your panties in a wad it ain’t like that jk 😭😂. Akebi’s sailor Uniform shits apparently wild 😂. Sabikui Bisco shit is Insanely wild! is my favorite future apocalyptic world ever one of the best. low quality iskae maybe, The worlds finest assassin gets reincarnated in another world. I hope a lot of people enjoyed these like it. Oh and of the chilliest cute anime by both the guy and girl, I can’t believe I said that. The ice guy and his cool female colleague. Cutesy shit that doesn’t go anywhere 😂😅. Remake Our Life. Going back in time. Is this show that broke my heart or felt like it shattered. Recommend it cause you can appreciate that.

The icy guy and his cool female friend Remake our life Interview with monster girls don’t watch it’s not the sauce! It’s pretty chill. Also devils line it’s the sauce i love me some vampire shows hot and steamy😂 but fr I hope y’all like this but yeah definitely watch his shows first solid recommendations. I think some of mine are better, but I just enjoyed the video a lot.

I can tell you why ppl didn't like it and it's pretty simple. The studio made up their own ending. Tatsumi and Mine actually lived and have a kid. Also Kurome lived as well. The studio basically said fk the manga (source material) and went their own route. Same philosophy that ruined the first 3 seasons of High School DxD for me b/c TNK wanted to make it almost a soft core hentai and screwed a lot of the story up and left out even more just to have more "fan service".
