Love my 128i cabrio - great performance and the last of the naturally aspirated in-line 6 engines. Very reliable, fun and easy to work on.

i have my 2009 for 14 years now w/ only 160k km's.... runs like a champ, drives and looks like it's brand new E82 is prob the most reliable BMW ever with no major issues.

i am looking to get one 128i but was wondering what’s the good mileage to look at and what price

I personally think it boils down to your preference in terms of mileage. I tend to stay away from high mileage cars but if that doesn't scare you and you're willing to deal with the maintenance costs it shouldn't be an issue. Costs of the car will differ as well depending on the conditions and budget you have. I'd say just do your research and see what to look for when shopping around 🙂

Maintenance is key - find a car with a service history and you will be pleased at how reliable these cars are if they are well maintained.

Did the rear get replaced with non m sport bumper?

The front bumper is a 135 bumper as I had a collision with the car and changed the bumper

I’m about to pay for one. It’s a 2010 BMW 1 series 128i for 8k. But I’m putting 1500 down payment. Do you think I can afford it with two incomes going towards it’s payments and insurance? Me and my wife make 4000$ a month together. Would that be enough to keep it up
