The Undertaker and Mankind match in Hell in A Cell, Taker wrestled the whole match with a broken ankle. He literally climbed that cell with a broken ankle. True warrior. I'm so jealous. I'm 48 years old and would give anything to meet and just talk about the good ole days of wrestling. I grew up in the industry. My dad worked for Bill Watts and Midsouth Wrestling. Got to meet many wrestlers before they made it big. My mom has a picture that she got blown up to poster size on her wall of me sitting in Andre the Giants hand when I was 5. Got to meet him and many others backstage at a WWF event back in 1979.

It was November 22, 1990, I was 11 at the time and was supposed to go Skateboarding with my friends but it started to rain so I decided to turn on the TV and WWF was on, it just happened to be the same moment the Undertaker first walked to the ring. I'll never forget that day.

To me, as a wrestler this guy is just lightyears ahead of everyone else. The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Ric Flair, The Ultimate Warrior, John Cena etc etc. Nobody is even close to The Undertaker. He has been a supernatural being longer than I have been on this planet. A gimmick that was so unique and will never be done again. And he has everything on a 10/10 artistically. The beautiful theme song with entrances that belongs in a James Cameroon movie, highly skilled athleticism, the respect from everyone in the business and all else. He sits alone in his throne. A fkin legend. Thank you Taker.

To think he wrestled twice more not knowing he even risked losing sight in one eye, is incredible! the chemistry between them, is brilliant. Hope Taker comes over to do a chat show here it would be a sell out show.

This dude lived through the "kayfabe" era of wrestling, back when you had to _be in character_ at all times when not seen on TV. He's gone through a large portion of his adult life not being able to interact and socialise with the fans and general public, not being able to just sit down and be himself, and always having to portray this almost supernatural being. Crazy to think about! And yet he's the sweetest, most polite, courteous... literal definition of a "gentle giant". Great storyteller.

Dude, quite frankly, The Undertaker is the GOAT for me and has been the be all end all wrestler for me since I started watching wrestling at the age of 5 in 94. That year's Royal Rumble was the first event that I remember watching. My Dad was a huge fan but I didn't like it. I used to beg to watch something else when it was on. That night though, when Undertaker made his entrance to fight Yokozuna, walking behind Paul Bearer who was pushing a casket with the lights off and he raised the lights (first time he did it was that night); I was mesmerized and since that night I've been one of his biggest fans. The first time I met him was in 1997. I was 8 and couldn't really appreciate the honor. The second time I met him was in 2003 and I was 15 and he was the American Badass and at that point I was a MARK for Taker. I cried like a damn baby trying to tell him how much he's meant to me as a fan. He told me to meet him over by the end of the table, he got up and walked to the end of the table (remember there's a HUGE LINE BEHIND ME), and got on one knee and said, "It's because of fans like you that I continue to do what I do. So I want you to know how much I appreciate you!". He then took a picture with me, hugged me, and that was that. I still don't like looking at that picture because I'm a short guy and Taker on one knee was still taller than me when I was 15 going on 16, but it's one of my most CHERISHED possessions in my life.

What a humble and cool guy, I've seen this man on multiple podcasts but it's always a true delight just to see the man. I wasn't even into wrestling or skating but this showed up in my algorithm and I haaaaad to take time out for this one.

This doesn’t even feel real. Undertaker and Tony Hawk, talking to one another? This looks like a weird nightmare. The coolest weird nightmare ever.

The thought of Undertaker turning off the lights before entering a room then turning em back on and just being like, "Sup guys." Is fucking hilarious 😂😂😂

I know almost nothing about wrestling, but I remember the Undertaker from the early early days. This was an excellent episode and he is a really great dude, even if he doesn't like cats.

I dont know shit about skateboarding but conversations like this makes people (like me) respect them because they endure pain for their passion.

He was the reason I started watching wrestling when I was a kid & even though I quit watching while he was still active, I kept an eye on when he'd appear and see what happens. It's really cool seeing him as Mark now and telling stories about his days. I'd love to meet the guy one day. As a 30 year old, I'd likely cry 🤣 Love that guy Awesome podcast fellas. Taker brought me here lol
