I think the Lovers is not necessarily the same sex. If you look at the dark haired person's forearm, it has a masculine structure, but I think they made it ambiguous looking with the long hair, and the shirt pulled away from the chest, so you can choose to perceive it how you like.

My Kickstarter copy arrived this week and I’m really loving the artwork. I can see why comparisons are made with the light seers but I’m connecting with this one in a way I expected to with the light seers but never did. It’s good to see some inclusion of older people and the message you’re never too old to be a page of cups! Thank you for the walkthrough. I hope you enjoy working with the deck.

However, there are a few things that I'm trying to work through with it, as my initial reaction was of disappointment. For example, I wish there was a choice of different lovers combinations. My copy arrived last week. Took a bit to get to me. I dig it! The colors please my little eyeballs. :) I think the creator did a super job. The backs (not that I see them often) are beautiful. I didn’t catch the Light Seer’s vibe, but I can understand why one would. Thanks Simon.

I love the 3 of wands... In relation to the 2 of swords, I once heard someone say a sword upright is a decision made and a sword pointing down a decision not made.. So i reckon that would equate to the crossed swords. Can't wait to get this deck 😍 Thanks Simon

I don't know anything about this deck. I've only ever backed one thing on Kickstarter. I sort of fumbled my way through it and haven't tried it again. I love the Dodal from Artisan and now I have the Noblet and that free Majors-only Noblet they had a while ago. That was cool. I enjoy all of them. Anyway, I should have backed this one because I love the watercolors in this deck. The artwork, as you said, is superb. There are some really gorgeous women and seriously, how hot are some of those guys? I ask because I'm shallow and these are the first things I notice. 😁 I can see why you loved the High Priestess. She has a presence. I'd be interested in a follow up after you've worked with it for a while. I'm curious to see how it goes with this deck and if it connects for you. That's if you've really recovered from whatever Plague you had. Drink tea. Eat toast. Make soup or order maybe order in some soup. Sleep. Put on some weirdly repetitive tv show back to back to back. Forensics shows are good for this. The episodes are so alike, always with the same narrator, it's essentially the same case over and over. It's very relaxing. If you drift off you won't even notice when you drift back in. It's great. But first you have to go and do a pen video because you're Satan. 😈😈😈 I totally understand. 😇 Feel better, I hope to catch your Satanic Pen video and see you for your live tomorrow morning.

The Wild Unknown indie deck had very thick,rigid cardstock. I have one if the mm versions thats more flexible.
