Yet another game to add to the best of 1999, especially on the PS1. It really was the best year for that system imo. This game honestly makes me want to start collecting music CDs for the sale of playing them on here. Also to note about two things: 1. The X button thing in the tutorial wasn’t a glitch, the tutorial is merely a video and not an actual gameplay thing. 2. I checked the PS3/Vita store and thankfully it’s still available.

I love vector, such an underrated art style. Wish it was utilized more in games. It brings me lots of nostalgia from vague childhood memories, that's the beauty of it.

Vib-Ribbon is a technical achievement of a game that is also really great! The game (minus the music files) fits into the PS1's 2MB RAM which is why you can load music into it without it stopping. Other games like Ridge Racer 1 do the same thing to allow for custom music but the fact Vib-Ribbon fits an entire algorithm for random generation makes it a lot more impressive. Great review btw Slayercoon

Artstyle of Vib-Ribbon is amazing. Also love the Vectrex. „ Eek, help spike, oh no Molly“.

If i'm remembering correctly, the tutorial just auto plays through the obstacles, and X closes the tutorial. (Realized the pinned comment already said this, I may be stupid-) Good review though! And unrelated, but your sona has a neat design!
