I didn't know people like this woman abusing her son or like this friend of abusing his son existed. Eye opening for me. Andy Garcia is an excellent actor. The movie is a thought troubling subject. Parents watch out. Thanks for this movie. You scare the heck out of me. Yes..... of disbelief.

true. it happens. to my love one who just passed away, the sad thing happen, she was molested by my neighbor when she was in her grade school saying he will kill our father. so after her funeral, it is lucky that he is already dead by accident wherein he paid his dues. take good care of your kids. do not trust any body even your relatives

Great movie but very sad as well we do not know what children goes through today they are so trusting and are often misled by adults keep your children safe and listen to them don't think that they always okay involve yourself in your children's lives notice if there are change on their behaviour at lest he got helped in the end 😢

Film touched on a rarely talked about topic: Incest committed by women on their sons. For that, i commend this film. Other than that, it was boring, dragged too much, and the adults acted so obtusely and like adults generally do when dealing with tense situations involving teenagers: being blindly unaware - even for those who're supposed to be psychologists/therapists - and resorting to shouting and not explaining anything. Typical, too, that the Andy Garcia character is made to look like an unfeeling, unaware father whilst the mother- as usual - is the main caretaker of the remaining child, made to look a rock of stability and kindness and understanding. Would be nice to have a film made in which the role of the mother is made to look more ambiguous (I don't mean as the sick mum like Tommy's). Overall, would give this a 5/10. I like Andy Garcia but he sometimes does tend to get a little over-the-top hysterical.

Human psychology particularly sexual one is highly complex and weird. In this movie, the children suffered in the hands of adults who couldn't understand their deep down demons.
