Tips for pronunciation of certain letters: e is always pronounced as 'eh' a single 's' is pronounced as 'zeh' two 's'es are pronounced as 'sssh' (sharp 's' sound) 'w' is pronounced as 'vah' 'sch' is pronounced as 'shh' 'st' is pronounced as 'stuh' 'ö' ('o' with umlaut) is pronounced as 'ouh' (pronounced by circling your mouth) 'v' is pronounced as 'f' The letter 'e' and sometimes 'r' (usually only stressed when it's attached to the end of a word & not pronounced as much when it is the first letter of a word; ie. 'Rechts' = right is pronounced like hh•rek•tz) is typically more pronounced; Schleifer would be pronounced as 'shh•lie•fehr' (less stressed 'h') 'g' is pronounced more like 'guh' rather than the English pronunciation of 'gee'

@@remmisteinAlso don't forget how to say the ei and ie sounds. "ei" just say the english letter 'i' 's name and for "ie" say the english letter 'e' 's name. You could remember it as the last letter of it is said.
