English are Christian, church of England or Catholic that means originally never ate meat on a Friday. Only up until 1960s when the pope said people can eat meat on Friday.

Not even close. They were a novelty in the British Isles until the Norman invaders started cultivating them after the Conquest. They are originally from Central Asia. The early apple pie recipes are also French.
@martinsanchez4827
@martinsanchez4827 2 жыл бұрын
@@toddellner5283 wait just because they used apples from Central Asia and drew some influences from a French pastry makes it not English? I also thought that the Normans were considered English if not than who? Would you make these claims from my native food in Mexico, as it drew Spanish influenced in our cuisine and other surrounding cultures influenced the Spanish? So how far must we go back, or is it just a case of Anglophobia.
@toddellner5283
@toddellner5283 2 жыл бұрын
@@martinsanchez4827 The Normans were pretty much Vikings from the Northwest Coast of France. They weren't French. They definitely weren't British until well after they invaded Great Britain in the 11th century. They were the ones who brought apples. The recipes they brought were Norman and French. So yes, the British eventually adopted foods from the conquerors, but just like wheat and pork were adopted in Mexico an honest historian would say they are originally European, and if an entirely Spanish recipe survived it would be dishonest not to acknowledge where it came from.
@martinsanchez4827
@martinsanchez4827 2 жыл бұрын
@@toddellner5283 oh ok so the apple pie recipe wasn't created by a Englishman? I have never read the Normans creating the same recipe of what was made by the English? I acknowledge the influences of the Spanish in Mexican cuisine but I would necessarily call it Spanish? Same as with the apple pie with the English, where I haven't seen any historian in the gastronomy field to refute the Apple pie being English. I think discrediting the English for this is moronic and redundant.

So the british queen is not british but german(saxe-coburg-gotha) and got their last name changed by the 1st world war , fish and chips origins are portuguese or jewish,their tea is indian,their worcester sauce is again indian ,the native people of the brithsh isles are the celts,the english laguage is an amalgamation of past invations by the german,french,italians mixed in with celtic lenguages , the biggest irony would be being racist in the uk when the most common things they see as endemic actually comes from all over the world . In short the brith are one of the most if not the most cosmopolitan area in this world .

The jewish claim is based off a recipe written down by one of them who was visiting the uk but falls apart when u think "why would a visitor to a foreign country write down their own recipe" far more likely that they learned it in uk and wrote down the recipe, as for it coming from southern spain, that just so by coincidence is where britain had colonies, unless someone has references to the recipe before the british colonised then its safe to say it came from britain imo, all peasant british dishes were designed to bulk out the ingredients so they could feed themselves, british people almost have no history unless it involved the royal family and nobles, what the poor lived off is undocumented like they never existed, allows people to make spurious claims and dimwits to make videos like this rubbish, imo.

Poor brits in the 1600s etc were illiterate but they knew how to live, whoever the jew wrote it down for it didnt teach poor brits the recipe, they didnt understand written english let alone spanish, which is the language it was written down in, maybe the jewish person was simple minded, cos why would u write a recipe down in your diary that u already knew?

@@FixNewsPlease "They" is Bojoke's government. The Good Friday Agreement is the peace agreement and governmental framework for Northern Ireland. It was the agreement that ended the Troubles and rests on completely open borders within Ireland. The Johnson government is planning on closing those borders or otherwise altering the agreement and the laws under which the six counties are governed to conform with Brexit. The British were making spiced chicken (basically jerk chicken before the caribbeans did lol) , spiced stews and broth recipes during the 1700's and the british added ingredients to indian curries that the indians didn't have or know how to grow.
