At the end of the series I think we become infected because the infection takes time to start and the only people that have become hostile are the animals so maybe it’s quicker for the animals and we had signs of the infection inside of us

The infected had attacked bunny on the eye , thats why she wears an eyepatch because she does not want us to know , when we were on the bed in the hospital , bunny showed it to Mr . P so he gave bunny a cure
