i am suprised that baba cant explain very well about what is the meaning of omo alagemo merindinlogun, maybe is about secret of agemo or not i dont understand. we need to remove some secret that are not meant to be secret about yorubas culture and traditions so that new generation will have real history, if we did not want our history and tradition dead. Agemo is the masquarade that we see that dance and there is something called ERU which is the secret about agemo.. This ERU is agemo in a real sense of agemo culture and tradition in ijebu. every agemo has his own ERU. no ERU, no Agemo. if they callled ijebus omo alagemo merindinlogun. it simple means ERU merindinlogun. i dont know why baba cant explain this.
