People are selfish. But so are you. We all are. But why the sense of entitlement thinking that people owe you their time? Maybe don't go into friendships with demands or expectations and you won't be so disappointed and people will feel less pressure in the friendship. As we get older our time becomes more valuable. Being a needy time-consuming friend can be draining for the other person. Think about their perspective, not just your own. What value can you offer them, not just what they can offer you.

Very true a lot of fake people, i'd say you knew that even younger, its just we give people chances . i know i did...see what i learned is people want you at their disposal ....i don't think being selfish is a simple phone call i'm mean people complain about today's technology meanwhile there are many way to say "HELLO" and refuse to do it ..its a power struggle... ..now a days everyone has their definition of selfish or any other definition at that..i hear this saying.."A friend will always be happy for you as long as your not doing better than them"..then you'll see if they were really your friend

I'm 40 and figuring out that every single one of my life long friends are not as close as we used to be. I started noticing it progressing that way my mid 30's. Life pulls you apart. People get married, have kids, take promotions at work with more hours to pay for that new house and car, etc. Before ya know it you only hangout once in a blue moon and when you do you no longer share a ton of common interests together anymore. You've both changed over time. Other things have become more important than maintaining your friendship so it gets pushed to the corner. I'm still friends with everyone but we just hardly ever spend any time together or do anything together. I've just had to learn how to like spending more time alone than I used to. I could've gotten bitter and depressed but instead I chose to find things I like to do on my own and try to keep on enjoying life. I may not get to enjoy the things I used to with my friends but I've found new things to enjoy that do not require anyone else to participate in or be a part of. I recently took up fishing and kayaking and I really enjoy doing both whether I have someone to do them with or not. I also took up miniature painting as a hobby and that has been very rewarding for me. I manage to stay happy with myself and with my life🙂

@@bobbygetsbanned6049 It was a era or time where people didnt know much about HIV or AIDS. It was common to think that HIV could only come from gay intercourse. The truth proberly was something with the sharing of needles. He knew prior before '92 that he "might" had HIV. He just hide it, done many fights, and by the time a contract against mike tyson was on stake the blood test suddenly prove otherwise. You cant have people with HIV into a blood contact sport. To this day people now claim that that was done to avoid Morrison even winning from mike. I mean morrison had a great left hook but surely not the power, strength or technique mike had. This would be another payday for Tyson.

He used so many illegal substances, and your gonna guy hid his HIV AIDS positivity from his opponents who had the right to know and who he owed to proof and tell the world about his conditions, and when people knew something was fishy he lied on purpose and denied everything. @@frankgonzales7611 you may want to take your own advice and get enlightened yourself. I myself believed that there may have either been a false positive or even an intentional attempt by someone. To screw Tommy over with doctored test results. But after looking into it after a short Facebook conversation with his wife. It became clear that not only did Tommy almost certainly have HIV. But that he knew he had it before the first blood test the boxing commission forced him to take (you know. The one he refused to take until the promoter basically told him to take the test or no fight) and fought anyway and as a result endangered other fighters. Tommy’s wife filed a lawsuit which submitted the new “negative for HIV test results” however court was able to determine that the lawsuit was not just in the courts words “Completely meritless” but even made it clear that if his wife who tried to continue the lawsuit for years by submitting the same so called negative test results over and over again. Continued to file meritless lawsuits in this matter. She could actually face legal action being taken against her The court found that the tests were far from reliable. And even though we don’t know exactly why the court believed these new tests were flawed or illegitimate. We have some pretty suspicious behavior on Tommy’s part in regards to these new tests. For one Tommy was relicensed to box in 2007 for a low brow promotion on a Indian casino. But it came out that instead of going to the facility the commission That relicensed him had told him to go to for his blood test. Tommy instead went to a small clinic that may not have required Tommy to present an ID to confirm it was Tommy taking the test. This is just one of the many suspicious circumstances regarding the negative HIV tests submitted by Tommy. But the final straw for me was when Tommy was told by the boxing commission of Quebec. that they would only license him to fight if Tommy took a commission SUPERVISED blood test at the same facility all fighters were required to do their pre fight physicals at. The commission did this because of the reported suspicion around the negative HIV tests that Tommy was submitting to prove he was HIV free. But instead of doing this. Tommy decided to declare that he would take a public HIV test at a facility of his own choosing and that the commission was more than welcome to come and observe the test. But he only did this after it was made clear that the commission would not cater to any individual fighter seeking a boxing license. By allowing any individual fighter to meet the requirements for a boxing license in a manner of their own choosing instead of the manner that the boxing commission required. Tommy wouldn’t take the blood test unless it was at a facility of his own choosing. So instead of boxing his scheduled fight in Canada. He instead retired. The reason he refused to take the test in Canada for his last scheduled fight. Is the same reason he initially refused to take the blood test that came back positive for HIV in 1996. Which was of course because He knew he had HIV and that it would be discovered if he took the test. Plain and simple I hope you don’t think I was trying to be rude or disrespectful with this comment.

In my youth I was a big fan of Tommy, so it was sad to see him in such a sad, lethargic and despondent state, in obvious poor health. What should've been a cool memory is instead a sad one. So we lived with God in the beginning and Adam and Eve messed it up and we where send here to earth where good and evil are together and God became human to suffer for us so we while we don't deserve it can get eternal life and God made it easy...

What a truly tragic story. We forget how devastating an HIV diagnosis was back in the day and how Society often times would turn their backs in fear. My heart goes out to those who were diagnosed and their loved ones that supported them. It reminds me of the story of Robbin Crosby, the guitarist from RATT who died from AIDS. Heartbreaking stuff!

Yeah and the cunts at Ratt turn their backs at Crosby despite the fact that he had composed all of their major hits. they kicked him out of the band and literally left him to die offering no help at all despite Crosby seeking for help

I put thumbs up,I loved Tommy as a national athlete, like myself I started working out and wrestling when I was nine just sit ups push up's chin up's running, and my coach worked us hard, like some sergeant from who knows where I really respected that guy for working us so hard, I grew up in the forest, so I was naturally running around chopping wood since I was a small kid it's so sad what happened to Tommy Fame and riches you got to watch out for that don't let it go to your head. I wish he was still here and he could undo that. great athlete one of the greatest I really respected and reminded me so much of myself wherever you are now Tommy I know you're the heavyweight champion

Before today, I didn't really know alot about T. Morrison. I've watched a ton of videos on him just today. This guy was a beast, I don't think he had Tysons speed but he certainly had the power. Alot of his knock outs look so smooth and effortless! It saddens me that his life was cut short by drugs. Truly a sad ending to what could have been a legendary career!
