Supporting Jussie in this lie is like supporting a 600 lb person by giving them a few pizzas. It's not love, or support, it's enabling.

If they have any decency left in their own conscious, they should tell Jussie to own up and tell the truth.

This would explain why jussie did what he did- his parents literally brainwashed their kids since the day they were born.

There is this Disney movie I loved watching growing up called Selma, Lord Selma. It’s about the civil rights movement and marching with MLK. Jurnee Smollet is the main character. Literally the movie is about a little girl (Jurnee) meeting MLK when he visits her hometown. And she protests with him. No clue she was bred for that role.

There’s nothing about this family I like, take seriously, or consider revolutionary. I don’t consider them leaders in the black community and I don’t feel like they represent black people. Who nominated them to fill this role? I didn’t! Nobody I know nominated the Smolletts to represent black people. They’re not even completely black. They have mixed ethnicity, Black and Jewish. I’m glad they’re embracing the Black side of their heritage, but there’s nothing particularly remarkable about them. I think they’re a bunch of opportunistic attention seekers who will exploit every situation to their own benefit. I find it disingenuous to say their parents were down with more militant aspects of the civil rights movement like Angela Davis, Huey Newton, and the Black Panthers while pushing their children into the Hollywood scene through acting. You want to talk about “The Establishment”? You can’t get anymore establishment than Hollywood. This family is disturbing and disgusting. Something just isn’t right with them. They are not what they appear to be. It’s a known fact that many young child actors and actresses get taken advantage of from an early age in Hollywood. Maybe Jussie has the sexual orientation he has due to some abuse.

I think the family feels the need to fight for something even if it means creating it and then playing the victim.
