Martin Gonzalez wasn’t 4 years. Check the release dates. If something is released in 2014 you can’t assume it was released in January and count it as an entire year. What if it was in December at the very end of the year? They took a few months longer than they usually do between albums, but its because they did a huge anniversary tour playing the first 2 records in full. They also got a new guitarist since the last record. Regardless, they never went anywhere and have been releasing albums since they started

Honestly it doesn't matter what they put out anymore. They gave the world 2 genuinely classic albums almost 15 years ago and that's all that matters to me. I still remember watching Bert throw up all over the stage back in 02. So much passion and rage, so beautiful.

I listened to a podcast from Bert, "this album will be like nothing the used ever released, everytime we left the studio to go home we hug one another & told each other 'I Love You' there's just something different about the human touch & hearing the words 'I Love You' from another human being" . "during the recording process I (MEANING BERT) lost one of my very very close friends, this person was one of the most intimate relationships I had with another male". He also mentioned his ex-girl (Katie) that passed away. Bert had a very had life...a lot of loss but everything that has happened in his life, all the emotions he's feeling, he can put on paper (& we can hear them mixed with music) & to most that's the best therapy.....Love You Bert.

The Used's essence is definitely still here, in this song and this music video.There's so many musical elements in this song you can match to many of their old songs, even if just the vibe or essence. Parts of it reminds me a little of Let It Bleed, and there's something for those of you who are preaching 'sell outs!' to think about :)

Jeph's choice of using his Warwick thumb to record this track growls so beautiful in his poppy bass runs...him and Dan lock up soo tight to possibly have taken the rhythm section of the used to its highest peak..fucking love the bridge of this song with his effects

Am I the only one not bitching about the song? Be happy! We haven't gotten any new material from them since 2014. And it's honestly a good song. I'm getting vibes from both In Love and Death, and Vulnerable. Most of you are saying they sold out, when they didn't. They changed, but they changed with each album. Self Titled -Grunge, with some punk and distortion In Love and Death -Pop Rock, with some emo and storybook themes Lies For The Liars -Jazzy, with a few horror sounds Artwork -Metal Vulnerable -Dubstep and hip hop Imaginary Enemy -Pop Punk Just be happy that we have a new song by a fantastic band

MichaelxChemicalxRomance vulnerable had several dubstep type instrumentals. And maybe grunge was the wrong word to use, but it did have some grunge and punk vibes along with multiple post-hardcore elements.

At first I wasn't big on this, but the. The guitar came on and thought the chords sounded sick, and then of course Bert's God Tier voice came on, and became hooked. The Used, you never disappoint.

I love the evolution in their music showing their diversity in sound while keeping their originality. If you know who they are (if you've ever listened to the album imaginary enemy) they couldn't be ever be considered sell outs. How they have grown to view the world and how people should treat each other and the things they stand up for, how could you ever see them as sell outs? They are not simple minded mainstream people! I love them.

DasSilja I agree, people haven't even heard the album yet. Plus they have always had a mix of songs with some being heavier than others. I think the people disappointed arent fans and only know their top songs.

Ca meron Mutated to pop? They've been writing pop choruses for nearly the entirety of their career. Go back and listen to I Caught Fire, Yesterday's Feelings, Empty With You, Hands & Faces etc. Pop is what Bert does best.

I've been a hardcore Used fan since the beginning. They have been my favorite band for the majority of my life, since the self titled album. I met Bert in my hometown a couple years ago during the anniversary tour and was almost at a complete loss for words from excitement. As soon as I had heard the release of Over and Over Again, I knew this album would be spectacular. Bert I love your music, your energy, your passion, your raw emotions, and your love for others. I haven't listened to The Used in years. I was SO in to them... They're music was there for me through feelings I was experiencing and were uplifting...on my darkest days listening to The Used, I'd feel powerful during a time of feeling powerless and this song is too perfect at giving me a comforting feeling that it's all good to be yourself through everything. Dance with your shadows and let your light shine through
