Greatest Twist EVER!!! I had no idea what was coming with this one, totally caught me off guard and I loved it! Enjoy my reaction to 'The Usual Suspects'.

This script is a piece of art. Fitting, since the title of the movie is derived from one of the many memorable lines from Casablanca. Which had one of the best scripts ever.

First time I ever saw this was back in 1999, on VHS. When the movie was over, I immediately rewinded it and re-watched from the start. Incredible.

Now you MUST see L.A. Confidential.....It is in my top 10 and has an awesome reveal 3/5 of the way through. James Cromwell, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, and a terrific supporting cast. Brilliant!!!

‘The Sting’ (1973) is another film with brilliant twists. My dad showed this to my brother and me when I was 12 and it still blows my mind years later. You should check it out!

The first time I watched the movie I was SO blown away by that twist that I felt a wave of tingling across my face as I sat there. And said out loud "Oh, WELL done!"

As much as I dislike Kevin Spacey for obvious reasons, he was brilliant in this movie. The twist within the twist laid me out when I first watched it. So good.

You should really watch it again to see how great of a performance Kevin Spacey gave. On a second viewing you'll notice him acting totally differently. For instance he's smurking everytime the cop can't see his face but on a first viewing you just don't notice it. Truly a wonderful piece of acting and a well-deserved Oscar.

It’s funny….They actually spoil the movie in the first act. In jail Verbal tells everyone that he’s called “Verbal” because he talks too much. The name Keyser Söze roughly translates to “King Talk Too Much”. He told the rest of the suspects and the audience he was Keyser when we first met him and we all brushed it off. Brilliant

The original US cinema weekend premiere cut spoiled it even faster. The opening credits in fact. Whoever cut the original listed the final name as "Kevin Spacey as Keyser Soze". So the original cut was recalled from all cinemas & the current cut was released

I've watched a lot of people react to this because it's one of my favourites, and great reaction material. But so many reactors, while not knowing the plot, go in knowing there's a 'big twist' and so just sit there trying to work it out for the entire movie. It was really nice to watch a reaction where the person was just as sucked in by Verbal as I was the first time I watched it.

I guess many people know, but that scene where they all start laughing reciting the lines was not scripted….. they couldn’t stop laughing, and Bryan Singer decided to shoot it anyway because he was getting upset at them 😂😂😂 and Benício Del Toro is sooooo funny, perhaps unintentionally 🤣 The best thing about this movie is Kevin Spacey’s line: “the biggest trick the devil’s ever pulled was making us believe he didn’t exist…..” he rightfully earned the Oscar for this movie. American Beauty earned him his second one, and it’s a movie worth watching too

I have a gift for figuring out plot twists long before most people. I had a friend who told me about this movie, and ruined it for me by telling me there was a huge plot twist ahead of time. I watched for a few minutes and realised it was Kevin Spacey. 😑 I now vicariously enjoy this movie by watching reactors not know and realise the truth at the end. It saved my tarnished experience - so thank you for that!

@@thecocoacouch it’s amazing how cathartic and comforting this format can be. I have very specific taste in movies and haven’t really watched much in years…I like the older stuff. The crazy thing is, that I’ve always preferred watching movies alone…I get a bit distracted by the person I watch with’s energy and responses…so I am AMAZED, at how much I enjoy watching reactors as they watch movies..I get to analyse and voyeuristically observe various people’s responses and takes on the same thing. I hate horrors, but I find amusement and fascination with how people respond to imaginary fear. It’s another teacher in human nature. It’s appealing on so many levels. Who knew? You’re doing amazing…you’re fun to watch & watch with! Take Care 🌟

It shows that all plans don't always work as planned, the whole plan was to kill the one person who could identify him, now everybody can. After all those people died Keyser still has to go into hiding forever 😢

The other thing is the director told all the actors they were Kaizer Soze, only Kevin Spacey actually knew the truth. At the end Keatons actor was legitimately mad when he found out he wasn’t Kaizer. So essentially everyone was playing their character how they thought Kaizer should be portryed

Watching this in theatres when it was released... when Verbal first tells the Kaiser Souze story, my friends and I all looked at each other, and we all had this same, "What the hell did I just watch?" look on our faces. The delivery was chilling. Kevin Spacey's a sack, but man he can act!

The scene where Redfoot flicked the cigarette into McManus''s face was an acciden. He was just supposed to flick it and it went right in his face but he stayed in character and they went with it.

3:28 That's a young Benecio Del Toro, and he's just gotten better as an actor over time. There is also a young Giancarlo Esposito. Seriously, this classic just has a stacked cast.

A funny story about the police lineup scene was that Benecio Del Toro kept passing gas during filming that scene, so that's partly why everyone couldn't keep a straight face. The humor in the scene played so well that they just kept the cut.

It’s strange because it doesn’t flow with the story. They’re annoyed, then laughing, then pissed again in the cell. What makes it work for me personally is that it’s very organic to human nature, our emotional state fluctuates so frequently that although it stands out like a sore thumb in comparison to the rest of the film, it’s very much human.

Another fantastic movie that has probably like three twist endings is The Game, with Michael douglas. Unfortunately not as well known as this one despite deserving it, and well worth the watch.

I will agree se7en is a great movie. Kevin Spacey is brilliant. I watched it once but I will never watch it again. The story is great but it's brutal to watch. I can't think about it without getting the creeps and will not watch any clips from it. It stays with you. So if you decide to react to it be prepared.

If you like twists you should check out The Tales of Jenny and Screech (Full Version) by Ren. They are 3 one shot musical videos that weave a very engaging story. It’s 13 minutes long but will feel like 5 minutes.

Not personally seen this film never really appealed to me, not sure if you do polls on films or you have a set you are sticking to but I recommend the film schindlers list, it’s a tough watch though

My brother showed us this movie and I almost ruined it because we all guessed who the bad guy was going to be and I immediately went "Spacey just because he‘s the most famous one" and my brother spent a good 5 minutes on trying to make us forget I said that 🤣 he succeeded mostly, though
