Some people in the comments seem to be interested in the words so i took a couple minutes and... Falling in love is like finding a home In the heart of a person that you have never known It’s the waiting for the ring of the phone when you’re alone It’s the dating and the “Oh my god! Baby this is our song!” Remember how it felt, when their touch, made you melt When their presence made you a better version of yourself When your bed was like an island in the middle of the sea And their eyes were the only sunset that you could see When their smile was enough to inspire forever in this lifetime of learning how to love each other better it’s beyond words. It’s knowing how they take their coffee or take their tea It is knowing when to challenge them and when to let them be It is knowing when to hold them and when to set them free It is chemistry and honesty, empathy, integrity and modesty It is calling when i’m gonna be late Or giving her the last bite of cake from my plates. It is going on vacation to a walking on the beach It’s the sound that she makes when she laughs in her sleep It is real, especially when it’s hard ‘Cause you have chosen to reveal who you really are Beautiful with all your scars You’re like a sky of stars I’ve never felt as infinite as when you’re in my arms I’ve never felt as intimate as when you’re in my charms I’ve never met someone and instantly knew I belonged So now the songs on the radio are making more sense And every Meg Ryan movie seems more intense I’m having dreams that i’m painting you a picket fence Our kids are playing on the lawn, still in innocence Pittoresque in every sense It’s like a Norman Rockwell, because it feels so real A modern fairytale with a pool and a barbecue grill We’ll have a two car garage And every week we’ll give each other gift certificates for one free foot massage And when you’ve had a hard day we’ll go and walk it off And when you’ve had a hard week we’ll get some Haagen Dazs We’ll put our goals in a list and then we’ll cross them off I’ll take some pics of our kids, then load them into our Macintosh And make you a mother’s day collage I wish i could take a time machine back to ‘98 Show up at the Prom as your date and hand you a corsage I think your skin is the closest that i have been to God You see, Love is like a long ladder up to Heaven It’s like a dance where you move apart and then come back together It is sunshine in stormy weather Because you would never know the one, unless you knew the other And in the end you’ll be old and gray With a pair of rocking chairs and some Grand Marnier Grandkids and a grand piano in the foyer Photographs of our family spilling the hallway And everybody in the neighborhood will ask you for advice So you’ll slowly lean in and then you’ll look around twice And then you’ll whisper real light, like it was the secret to your life When you know, you know… ‘Cause when it’s right, it’s right…

Wow... That poem-bomb just blew my mind. The instant your words started flowing out of your mouth, some magical connection could be seen in the eyes of these couples hearing you. I want that amazing superpower, man.

My tears were STREAMING....... listening to this!!!!! Your joy runs so deep .....but your pain too, or you could NEVER have written this with so much passion, understanding and tender appreciation!! . I have been married for exactly 33⅓ years on the 30 Nov. 2020!! 😬😬 This....is what makes love so real!!! Being vulnerable together, silly together, funny together, laugh and cry and giggle together, it is unconditional love, understanding, empathy, compassion and the deepest, deepest connection I could EVER connect with any human on the planet!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 And....we were both 17 years old!! 🌿🌿🌷🌷🌼🌼🌻🌻🌾🌾 He is my aorta!!! 😘😘 I couldn't live without this being!!!

I'm a spoken word artist and I've never met anyone better than me... 😸 but I think you're good see..don't know how I've found your page I think it was God because minutes before I was enraged...I asked God to sit me down before I do something drastic to my neighbors for smoking in the house...you're poem turned my rage to I can't wait to be in love when God finally sends my spouse.... thank you for sharing..because sharing is caring ...Snap snap open mic style.. 😘😀

HOW do more people not know about you?!?!? I wish you would come back out towards NY (OR RIGHT TO NY, lol) we went to Mass, and you cancelled 😢 I was heartbroken…. As I watch these people pass you bye in the street 🤦🏼‍♀️😭😆 lol, the irony! I drove like 400 miles + & spent $100s. Between gas, air bnb, the parking (that they never refunded us 🙄) and the tickets. Ugh, that hurt 😆. Sooooo please come back this way. 🙏🏽

QUITE ALOT OF RUDE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD! WHAT IS 5 MINUTES OUT OF YOUR LIFE GOING TO DO. YOU SPEND MORE TIME LOOKING ON SOCIAL MEDIA AT CRAP!! I KNOW FOR A FACT I WOULD OF STOPPED TO LISTEN. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE AN ASS... OUTSTANDING POEM BY THE WAY. REALLY AMAZING...
