Herr this is the most important video I've seen for my livestock business I want to do in Ghana. I'm a Ghanaian and I live in the states and I have many years of fish keeping experience. I used to import aquarium fish from south America to the states. I can breed fish, grow out fish and maintain water quality which is the most important aspect to fish keeping. I have learned how to make fish feed also. Masa you have connected the dots for me paa.

It's the same fish some people call it catfish and others call it mudfish.

Catfish is an emerging market and have a huge potential of being equal or by pass tilapia in some years to come . It just that most of the farmers don't know who are their target market .we Ghanaians are used to smoking catfish than the fresh catfish but you see everybody grow their fish past the smoking sizes and due to this they struggle to sell and one big mistake we do is they will wait for their fish is ready before tgey look for buyers.

My question is if I start with 1000 please what will be costs of the feeds

Well it all depends on your target market if you want to sell as smoking size or table size. Table size is 900grams to 1kg and above and if you are going for 1kg and above then you need 67 bags of feed and the price keeps going up but if you want to sell as smoking size then you need less feed

@@nickmensah7878 what you are saying is true by starting with small then grow .and one big mistakes Ghanaians does is they don't know their target market and doesn't look for buyers till their fish are ready for the market.
