+Chloe Emerson He initiallly audiotioned with an American accent and the cast director told him they would hire him if he could pull of a British accent... and the rest is history.

I can hear his British accent a little bit but its not as strong I think the strong accent in the Vampire Diaries is just apart of his Character and what really makes Michael Malarkey Enzo. But its so weird because, when you listen to Michael Malarkey's music and when he sings his accent sounds more thick than when he normally talks

It was a real mansion called Glenridge Hall which was just outside of Atlanta but it was demolished in 2015 to make way for urban development in the area. Fun fact: It was completed in 1929. In the first season of Vampire Diaries the Salvatore House scenes were actually filmed in Glenridge Hall, but from season two onwards they decided to create sets that looked like the mansion and filmed there (because they saw that the importance of Salvatore House would be huge, but at the same time it wasn't cost efficient to go to Sandy Springs everyday to shoot only one place).

If i wasn't already 22, i'd try my hand at acting as well. It seems like a passionate job. I know it's tough just like any other job, but it seems like something very fun and exciting.

Thank you +Alexandra Bayer for letting me know about that very interesting fact. :) I'm a little shy, but since i started attending this holistic acting class (about 3 months ago) I've really opened up. I don't think I'll ever get the chance to act in a real movie to tv show, but it's good exercise and very fun. :) I recommend it to any one who is looking for something recreational to do. :)
