Takes me back to summer evenings hunting with a .410 shotgun.I was 10 my brother 8.No health and safety bullshit, no risk assessments-just taught gun safety the right way and trusted to use common sense.Imagine that today.Love the channel content- it’s nice to see kids enjoying nature and without a gaming console in sight.

Brilliant Chris, I thought it was only me who went out pigeon scaring. I spoke to Josh about shooting the other week when he was down in peterborough. I have a Hatsan 3 shot semi auto like his. I ended up putting a shim in the stock to put some cast into it so it fitted me better. Tell him to look at using a pattern plate, check out vids on KZfaq about it. Carry on the Struggle and straight shooting.

Get the kids to look up on youtube how to remove the brass from a spent shotgun cartridge, its so easy and the brass recovered is good scrap brass.

The only Chris doesn't struggle with is spending time with family. I eat venison atleast twice a week. Try to shoot one deer a year minimum.

Chris the transit does have a towing eye, it screws into a hole behind that panel you pointed at. Towing eye is clipped to the chassis leg under the bonnet on the drivers side (for the next time you want to go mushroom hunting) 😁

I think Josh is the Oscar Schindler of shooting, he pretends he's there to shoot the birds but it is in fact an elaborate act, he cunningly protects the birds from any harm ensuring their survival. In the future when Josh has sadly passed, many birds will come from far and wide to drop a little pebble on Josh's grave, as a thank you for his kind actions that lead to their very existence...

I used to work at a clay pigeon shooting place many moons ago, had to get up at the crack of dawn on Sundays and we would set up the traps etc in a woodland. I eventually got my own 12 bore shotgun. Just don’t get in the way of the moving part of the trap, it don’t half hurt if it whacks ya

Howya Chris, tell josh he's stopping the gun that's why he's missing behind the birds, check what choke is in the gun normally for pigeon shooting I'd use half choke or wider choke you don't want a tight pattern shooting pigeons from a hide.
