Those shows were closer in time to the release of their first album than the present day.

Time certainly seemed to move slower back then, or atleast alot more happened per decade

And I went to their show in Hamburg, which was the most important concert (besides Bowie's Glass Spider-Tour) I visited in my life

The reunion never made it to the U.S. due to 'Lou being Lou'.

I've been intrigued by The Velvet Underground ever since I first spotted their 🍌 album in the record rack of the local department store while my parents were busy furniture shopping nearby. This was at a time when Sonny and Cher were called Caesar and Cleo.

Media in this video seemed kind of mean and disrespectful towards the band, I thought.

I remember reading about the '93 concert's in an airline magazine on a flight to Denmark and being pissed there were not any American concert's scheduled. So I didn't get to see the reformed VU one last time, I bought the DVD instead. The performances were very much the recaptured sound of the late 60's that was uniquely Velvet Underground - especially with Cale. I think I saw all but one show at the Tea Party back then. That is until they morphed into a "Best of Boston" band and imploded. One giant sucking sound. Sorry Wally
