Thank u for the lesson sis!💖 U answered some of my Qs at the end. But one more question, when the definiteness of two words donot match, do they just form a sentence? Or do they have to be of different categories? ( at 5:58 of this video made me ask). I mean I watched ur lesson on sentences but u did not go deep EDIT : Yes we are at the beginner level but still.

You are more than welcome !! ^__^ We are talking about the most basic form of nominal sentences here : noun + adjective So we definitely need a noun and an adjective describing it : the noun has to be definite and the adjective indefinite. And yes this is only an introduction to sentences : fear not we'll get down to the nuts and bolts of Arabic sentences step by step. It's only a matter of time. Really appreciate your efforts and feedback ! Keep going and all the best !!

شكر. i have question. what dialect do i as an arabic learner learn? standard? i heard it’s only used in public writings, books, formal speech. but i am not sure which dialect to learn ):
@LearnArabicMSA
@LearnArabicMSA 3 жыл бұрын
Welcome !! It really depends : for example if you are moving to a specific country you can learn its dialect but at the same time if you learn Modern Standard Arabic you can basically fit in any Arabic country until you learn its dialect. And switching from Modern Standard Arabic to any dialect is a lot easier than the other way around. So feel free to choose according to your needs and we wish you all the best !!

@@TanveerAlam-wx5js It depends on the grammatical function of the word within the sentence : We briefly touched on the nominative case as well as the genitive one in our introduction to prepositions and adverbs series so feel free to check that one ( playlists : series 12 )
