I still love the character Alex Russo. She was snarky, sarcastic, artsy, and intelligent. Most Disney Channel characters these days don't evolve or have interesting personalities, now are just annoying tropes that don't develop. Other characters like London Tipton from the Suite Life would de-evolve, going from being fun and complex to more childish and stupid. Alex is one of the few that actually matured and never stopped being original.

Third funniest Disney female character ever after Raven Baxter and London Tipton 😂😂😂 I consider myself lucky to grow up in the Suite life, HSM, Wizards, Camp rock, Hannah, Raven era of Disney. When this era of Disney Channel stars left they took Disney Channel's relevance with them. edit: I'd put Alex ahead of London now. Alex Russo really was one of the best Disney characters ever.

A lot of Disney shows try to incorporate the whole 'bad girl' stereotype. But I think Alex is the only one who was ever really able to pull it off. She doesn't care about much, meanwhile the other ones are trying WAY too hard to be the 'bad girl'. And Harper is the perfect balance for her because she not just the 'good girl' in the friendship. She's got her own personality, quirks, and goals. They're a great pair!

That's what makes her such an amazing character: how LAYERED she is. She's rebellious and impulsive, but she's ultimately very clever and, seriously, has the biggest heart out of anyone on that show. If you pay attention, a huge percentage of every mess she gets herself into is by doing things for other people. The dog for Justin, the cab, helping Harper win at everything, the doll house, all of it. She's so relatable, I ADORE her, and it's been ages since I've watched this show!

I'm 16 and I loved wowp, it made me a massive Selena fan. This Vid is a lovely look back on the past but my only dislikes about it would be that some of the clips aren't the best quality, especially the clips of the older episodes which are quite pixelated. Also the volume varies a lot, I found myself altering the volume on my speakers each time the clip changed. (I don't mean to be harsh, its just a little critasism, you should bare these factors in mind when making youtube vids in the future!)

With this video, i have been EASILY reminded on how talented of an actress Selena really is. Wizards really was the only show I enjoyed on Disney, such a shame it ended :( but man, Alex made this show, such a character. Plays it like a rebellious bad girl who's failing out of school, yet is the cleverest one of the bunch with a heart of gold. But with what crap Disney is now, I'm kinda glad Selena left. She left off on a good note with an amazing show/character, and can now do bigger things :)
