He was a very good salesman, very entertaining, and best of all, he popped up just about anywhere at the time. I specifically remember Billy Mays being on Jetix Commercials and automatically feeling at home when my Pucca went on break, and he came on. His death was a tragedy, not only to the meme culture, but to the hearts of his fans, such as myself. Thank you, Billy, for making my life complete.

It's so refreshing to hear these original advertisements after all these years untainted by the inanity of the internet. The memories are rushing in at a tremendous rapidity. I'm holding back tears. I remember where I was when this man passed: having supper at my grandmother's house. I had no concept of death at the time, and wrote it off as a fluke. How ignorant was I back then. I was an avid fan of his commercials, and even caught the stray episode of Pitch Men back in the day. To see his legacy perverted and vulgarised here on KZfaq sickens me. I always remember wondering as a kid why he would always yell in his infomercials. He coincidentally died in the city I’ve lived in my whole life AND I share a birthday with him, July 20.
