The View from the Edge! The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Rides Curbar Edge, I’m back in North Derbyshire riding the road up Curbar Edge, an impressive gritstone outcrop with amazing views over the Derbyshire Dales.
Crossing Big-Moor I was looking out for the herds of wild Red Deer, but none ventured out today.
With the burbling sound of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 engine in my ears, fantastic views to please the eye, what more do you need on a ride out?

As an American I find the buildings and architecture fascinating. So different than where I live. Also always surprised how many people are walking way out in the countryside. Really enjoying your videos Thanks

I'd agree with you about the Classic 350 being an ideal bike for those roads, Dave. Anything bigger would be pretty superfluous. Lovely views too, as you invariably present to us. 👍

Mystery car: Liege Was designed and developed in 1995 by Peter Davis in the UK, as a lightweight general purpose sports car, inspired by the classic sporting car era of the 1950s. The chassis is a simple A’ frame, with a glass fibre body and integral floor bonded in. The engine is a 850cc 4-cyl OHV (40hp) and gearbox from the Reliant Robin. It is believed that about 50-60 cars were supplied in component form between 1997 and 2007.

About 3 years ago my sister who lives in central London came up to S.Yorks for a few days, she studied geology at university many, many years ago and when I asked where she would like to go out for a day she said to one of the millstone outcroppings. So I took her to Curbar Edge, it was an unseasonably warm, still spring day and there was virtually no one there, we had a wonderful couple of hours laid in the sunshine atop the edge taking in the scenery and just chatting, the coffee van was there then.

Think Crowdecote is a little bit more stunning than Surprise, great if you can fit both in a ride. Even better with Monsal Head in there as well. The 3 gasps! Oh, and dropping down to Edale from Mam Tor, Winnats Pass.......I love the Peak District locality!

Looks like a great ride! Hathersage is a village (albeit quite a large one) because the only town in the Peak District is Bakewell.

@@droptuned83 Other than Eyam and Castleton (which are villages) none of those is in the Peak District. They are in the surrounding area but outside of the boundary.
