I think it's important to note that this entire fight is just an RNG slot machine. You cannot plan a strategy because it's roll of the device that the traps open up on the corner you're kiting the boss to. More often than not the pull you kill the boss on is going to be the one you have the best RNG. It's simply a terribly designed fight.

They removed the rng from the fight come reset
