My Christmas tradition is gathering the family together on Christmas Eve and opening presents together, singing Christmas hymns and songs and enjoying a Christmas meal together. Love everything you do. Just beautiful.

My favorite Christmas tradition is every Christmas Eve my family gets together to have dinner and exchange gifts for adults and all the children get their gifts from everyone. That way they can stay home on Christmas and enjoy their family.

Oh Happy Tuesday there Arttie, wonderful stitching and finishes as always. My fav tradition is snow. and the lights and watching Reginald Owens (the original) A Christmas Carol and a good cozy read or stitch.

Just WOW!! You have been busy!! Great finishes & WIPS!! I also stitch the Prairie Schooler Santas & I love stitching them. I have only stitched one in the called for fabric & was not a fan. I stitch them on mostly 16 & 18 count Aida or 28 or 32 evenweave.....all colors!! My children gifted me a 5 foot tree just for these & it is just so much fun decorating! Sara from Sister Lou Stitches is truly one of the nicest & sweetest gals around! I have had the pleasure of meeting her at my LNS retreats (For the Stitcher's Soul, Delmar, NY) several times. As a group we have stitched her Dare to be Different pattern & next year we are stitching Wings!. Always a fun stitch. She has been the featured designer of the shop's monthly ornament club too! At the fall retreat she released another exclusive to For the Stitcher's Soul....it is a fairytale pattern .....complete with a gorgeous dragon!! I think she had the finish on display in Williamsburg. Merry Christmas!

My favorite Christmas tradition is getting together with my son, his wife and her parents. We've done this enough that we have a meal menu of combined traditions between the two families. Many hands make for a lighter load on everyone. Merry Christmas.

My favorite Christmas traditon starts day after thanksgiving...putting up tree, then going out to see christmas lights... we come home and on christmas eve we each pick one gift to open. Next day open gifts and go to the movies... well so much for one... did all traditions... i love them all. Happy Stitching. 🎉❤🎉❤

My mother always made little Hungarian nut filled pastries called Kiflies. After my mother passed away, I started making the Kiflies for my siblings and their families. Everyone looks forward to receiving their package of Kiflies every Christmas. Thanks for sharing your adventures! ❤️🪡🎄

My favourite Christmas tradition is having my kids open one gift on Christmas Eve - it is their matching pjamas - they are now 32, 29 and 25 - still get excited for the matching pj pictures😂

I know this is probably a weird Christmas tradition but I always...yes it's a must listen to Elvis sing Blue Christmas. I use to do it every year when I was putting up the tree. I don't do a regular tree any longer. What I have now is what I call my holiday tree. It's made from a chair leg and dowel rods and painted black. I have lights on it that I leave all year long. I decorate it according to the holiday or season. I love your Home for the Holidays!!!

As a kid this was a yearly and memorable tradition. My grandfather lived with us and on Christmas morning he got up when my sister and I did (very early). We weren't allowed to wake our parents up until 6 a.m. my sister played the saxophone so at 6 she played Jingle Bells and he and I sang. We knew we would be opening presents soon after that.

All those retreats and shows sound magical. My tradition is listening to Kings Choir service from the UK on Christmas Eve. Colonial Williamsburg is beautiful at Christmas. I went 20 years ago and got involved in all the activities. Fun!

Really enjoyed today's video. Just placed a giant order with Sulky for black, white, and about eight other colors. Love that fiber! I don't know how you do it, but you have lots of energy and excitement for cross stitching, which is contagious. I am doing 80 starts in 2024 for my 80th birthday in April. I am so excited, and I think I can do it since I am retired and have plenty of time. And you were right about the large applique project. I noticed the coloring of the words, but I thought to myself, she "antiqued" it and it looks nice. Glad you like it now. Have a Blessed Christmas and New Year.

Our favorite Christmas tradition is sharing a Christmas wafer with each other on Christmas day, right before dinner. Everyone gets a wafer and breaks off a little pie+e to share with as many people as they can. When you receive a piece of wafer you give one in return. I always told the person receiving the wafer that I loved them but went around to anyone I did not give a wafer to that I loved them too. We no longer do it since altimizers hit my parents that were in charge of picking up the wafers. I did it for a few years but am not healthy enough to do extra things during the holiday¿ Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family . I am glad we met at Great Lakes retreat.

Your children's ornaments are going to be so cute! I love all of your new finishes. I'm gonna have to visit Walmart after Christmas, and see what goodies I can find. I usually don't even look in their Christmas department, because I only put handmade ornaments on my tree.

I am so thrilled you are doing wool applique. They all look wonderful. It is hard not to be too picky of ourselves. I do it to. Let us all try to not be that way. You did a lot on your trip. I could only crochet on our trip in Nov. Roads too bumpy.

Your trip sounded like fun-my husband usually does all the driving also so I am able to embroidery (I tried to cross stitch in the car but did not work out very good)-a family tradition we have is not to have our celebration in December we wait until the middle of January-everyone is so much more relaxed and we have so much more fun-

My favourite tradition is having a Ukrainian meal on Christmas Eve. Everything is homemade and delicious! Doing a flosstube daily is a lot of work. We don't want you to burn out or stop because you no longer enjoy your family. Take time to spend with your family and enjoy the season.

I think next year, I might stitch an advent calendar. Looks like fun. Great to see you back! I checked my delivery on my Stitchy Makers collaboration. It’s finally in Canada, but some reason went to Montreal distribution/ processing depot. So, it will be here soon. Never had a US shipment go to Quebec, lol It will have travelled more than me😂

My favorite Christmas tradition begins on Thanksgiving evening. We watch Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story! Then, we decorate for Christmas that weekend! I love how cozy the house feels with all the lights!😊

My favorite Christmas tradition is serving Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for breakfast. My mother started this tradition, and my children look forward to it every year! This is the only day of the year I serve them so it makes it very special. Thanks for another great video 🌲

I really like your Monogram ornaments for your family. The font with the winter/Christmas motifs, did you get this off an Etsy site? They are adorable. We have several traditional things we do around the holiday, but what was mentioned this year is my Santa figurine collection that I display on the mantle with my two kids stockings ( they are both adults & married with children ). I am kind of bored with them, but both my husband and daughter stated it was tradition to have the Santas displayed, so they are out.
