That was one show that I really enjoy when I was growing up living in Madison North Carolina along with Reidsville North Carolina and Greensboro North Carolina that was a show along with bananas in the wild wild west thank you for posting this up and show about The Virginian thank you very much

Hello from Ireland. I watched this show here in Ireland back in the sixties. Loved the characters and the actors who played them. I believe James Drury's Grandfather came from Co Westmeath here in Ireland. John O'Mahony

you need to read the original Virginian by Owen Wister,Trampus was a semi bad guy,the Virgian had to hang him,the Virginian was a smart guy at a sudden train stop people were hungry the Virgian knew where he could find some bullfrogs and fried up some legs and sold them to people that were hungry,he told Trampus he rounded them up like cattle and Trampus saw a way to make money,then he knew he was the butt of a joke and got angry,there is also a story in the book about a chicken trying to hatch rocks.It's a good read.

I met Jim when he came to Ireland for a vacation in 2008 with his wife Carl Ann I got him to give me his autograph on The Virginian book that came out a thru cowboy RIP 🙏
