@@bigpap90 society has a whole also allows and incredible amount of people to have the ability to survive (meet food, water, and shelter needs) without actually producing any goods (politicians, many media influencers and athletes..) like I’m not saying these things don’t have a place in society but when the whole of society doesn’t believe in consequences (be them eternal or not, I didn’t need hell to fear my parents giving me the belt) nor do they believe that in order to succeed you need to produce a GOOD. Which leads to man feeling unfulfilled and idle. I think religion can fill these spaces for sure, but it isn’t NECESSARY, nor does it always produce great results.

You may have been raised in an atheist household, but the society as a whole was founded on the principles of Christianity and Jesus Christ. Your family may deny the existence of God, but whether you know it or not, you behave and act out your life as though there is a God. The basic framework of our society and its principles based on individual sovereignty, liberty, and freedom go well beyond your family’s personal beliefs in the God who made it possible.
