Many people don't realise the fact, that the key Dorota sang in, was actually higher that the original one Whitney used.

+Keyvon Moreno Sarabia You're absolutely wrong. The original song is in the key of G major and the chorus is in the key of B flat major (yes, that's true; verse and chorus in this song are in different keys, which is extremely rare) with a modulation on the last chorus, which is thus in the key of B major. And Dorota sings it in the key of A major (so it's two half steps higher!), the chorus in C major and the last chorus in C sharp major, where she hits the F5 on "don't make me CLOSE" and the fuckin' G#5 on "stay in MY arms" both in the chest register.

Absolutely the best voice of anyone who has ever been on any The Voice in an country. I could listen to her version of Calling You 1000 times and be moved every time as if I was hearing it for the first time. What a beautiful gift she has and shares.

A ja uważam, że laska na tej piosence POPŁYNĘŁA totalnie, słabo wykonane, z playbacku, kicha. Je'taime było fantastyczne i takiego repertuaru niech się trzyma, tutaj uderzyła w top of the tops i spadła na twarz. Za wysokie progi do Whitney.

Its funny how many native English speakers often make fun of other people's English, when 90 % of them never tried or could learn another language and they just know how to talk their native language. Some of the people you make fun of speak 3 or 4 languages... so when you know a language different than your own you can start to judge. Anyway, about this singer, she is absolutely amazing. "Calling you" is definitely my favourite performance of her

I find her English to be pretty spot on. Like you said, until someone tries to learn another language, especially English, they cannot judge. She is so talented. I really hope to see more of her.

Maybe because a vast majority of our country still speaks English. I'm in the military and I know people from all over the country and they all took Spanish like I did in high school and can barely understand any words. My point is, she took the time to learn English obviously because she wanted to. Not because she had to. Give the woman some credit.

I am a 62 year old man from England and have lived in Canada for the last 40 years. I would be proud if this singer was from my home or adopted countries. Poland she is a national treasure, her rendition of Calling You probably moved me more than any other song I have heard.

I am 63 & from the US. When we can appreciate this, neither of us is truly old in spirit. Her rendition of "Calling You" was every bit as great (maybe even better) than Jevetta Steele's & I could not even imagine anyone doing that. But, it happened. I am proud of her because she is from our adopted country - The World of Music.

Dałem plus ale ta piosenka dla Dorotki to był błąd. Nie ta barwa głosu. Ten niższy, nieco matowy u Witney był lepszy. Oczywiście to najlepszy głos żeński. No i Dorotka rzeczywiście ma coś w tych swouch oczach. Na pewno powinna śpiewać, czyli powinno się jej za to śpiewanie dobrze płacić.

Her rendition of Je t'aime was absolutely heartbreaking and splendid. What I liked most about this is that she made it her own. Most singers try to sing this song like Whitney, but she didn't. In short, she's just magnificent.

Dorota po prostu deklasuje wszystkich z wszystkich edycji VOP. Ona kompletnie nie ma konkurencji. To, że nie zwyciężyła pokazuje tylko jak 'śmiesznym' jest ten program. Tyle jej, że ludzie dzięki programowi łatwiej o niej usłyszęli. To co ona robi z głosem to jest światowy top. Dorota simply outclasses all of the VOP editions. She has absolutely no competition. The fact that she didn't win just shows how 'funny' the show is. At least the show made it easier for people to hear about her. The thing she does with the voice is world class.

The thing about Dorota's rendition of a very well known Whitney Houston song, though it was never released as a single, correct me if I'm wrong, is that she made it her OWN. Unlike other young girls in other competitions who, although have excellent voices, just do a carbon copy of Whitney's version. Dorota's make me feel like I'm hearing it for the first time ever. She should be a global star, even if singing in Polish or in English with an accent.

+2ksupreme Exactly 2ksupreme. Calling You is one of my favorite songs, and the three best versions of this song are by Dorota, Javetta Steele (who did the original version for the film, Bagdad Cafe and was nominated for an Academy Award) and Jeff Buckley. All different, and all sublime.

I agree - Dorota should have many successful years ahead of her (hopefully close to forever). But also check out a lady by the name of Eva Cassidy. Her music will live on forever, even though her life was cut short. Sometimes that is all we can hope for. From ourselves & the people we admire. That the sounds of our heart's music will fly over the setting sun.

To jest wielki talent , rzadki talent, przepiękna barwa głosu ale też to ,że Pani Dorota "cała jest muzyką " sprawia ,że uderza w nasze dusze tak głęboko .Ja jestem pod dużym wrażeniem jej występów i nawet jeśli , ktoś próbuje przykleić jej jakąś łatkę to nie ma to większego znaczenia, bo jest wielkim formatem artysty .Będę śledzić jej dalszą karierę. Pani Doroto chylę czoła , nie tylko przed wielkim talentem ale też przed Pani osobowością .

Wiem, data Moim zdaniem pani Dorota może mieć grubo po nad 4 oktawy. Tutaj śpiewała powyżej C5 w niektórych momentach

Nothing ......Holy about your reply... just an obvious lack of intelligence with your response! Too bad it is beyond your ability to respond without cursing yourself and using profane language. You see ....when you curse you are in effect damning yourself. You cannot profane the name of God and not reap the wrath of God. Of course, unless you ask Him to forgive you....which he died that you might believe in him and not suffer the wrath of HELL! Please for your sake believe in his death (for you) his burial and his resurrection....he is your only hope!
