I cannot fucking believe nobody turned for the sweet dreams guy. What A RANGE! I bet none of the other contests have that range. It was a bizarre arrangement, and I think that confused the judges and kept them from realizing how brilliant it was, as most songs don't showcase but a small portion of a performer's range. He was so smart to put together an arrangement that made the most of the 90 seconds contestants have to show what they are capable of.

They surely did know it was a brilliant performance by him, but the thing is, he used too many different ranges which made the song uncomfortable to listen, too many emotions with different meanings to lyrics etc etc. Maybe if he would of stuck to upper ranges from middle to upper half the song and the rest with few lower notes plus added his own "default" voice of his which you could hear at the end pretty much, that would of made his perfomance shine a lot more. Edit: i respect your comment though, you did mention confusion, that summons up pretty much the whole comment of mine with some details, respect

It was horrible to listen to. You need to find a style and stick with it to entice a judge. What he did just confused all of them into not knowing what exactly was he capable of.
