Such a beautiful voice. Such tones. A real singer who takes you on a journey into another land. Good looking girl, too. I hope she wins it. She deserves it. Knockout performance by Alys. Her Voice has a unique tone to it, like honey, reminds me of Sade, but different. Absolutely agree that I will buy her album as well. I only hope she keeps her album in a dark mood, slow and sad songs....no cheerful screaming

It seems to me you already understand why it was a great performance. She has a dreamland voice. Its very captivating, she moved through the song with perfect pitch and carried the volumes very well. That was really the trick about it. She would build up a phrase and then drop it down and build up and drop and so on. Also she is quite different from the singers you mentioned in another comment. The only one who has a similar voice is melanie m. and she sings a different style of music.
