I’m 50 and just brought my first GTI and I now understand the loyalty behind them, great all around car and super fun! when it needs to be so far I’m not unhappy with the purchase.

Hey man really like your videos you are the best South African car reviewer so far but I can’t help but ask in the video you said it’s powered through a 7 speed dsg I thought it was a 6 speed dsg since it’s the pre-facelift one or is it different for the South African/Namibian market really appreciate a response😊

Hey man, thanks a lot... Actually to my surprise, I found out last week that all GTIs are 6-speed boxes (automatic). I was shocked because I thought the entire range is a 7 speed, I have a 1.4 TSI DSG and it's a 7 speed...So 7 GTI, R and 7.5 GTI are 6 speed...7.5 R, 7&7.5 normal TSI&TDI are 7 speed boxes. Hope I didn't confuse you.

If you're considering a Scirocco R then definitely go for the Audi TTs, you'll find one with about 30k km for about R580k, good audi Quality, 228kw/306hp, 380nm... Little pocket rocket.

They don’t flicker, it’s the difference in frequency between the camera and the led lights of the car

Overseas like in the UK it’s a 7 speed, and I watch a lot of those guys’ content so that’s why it’s a bit confusing, but thank you I’m aware
