How did you get the LaBellas B string in tune? I have an US professional Fender P Bass and La Bella flats but I have to tune the B string by ear to make it work but the tunner shows more than half a step lower. Tunning and intonating the string with a tunner gives me funny notes, doesn't make sense.

I wanted to know if I can have my home made widow headless bass demoed ...I had asked Andy Irvine but never got a response can somebody please call me ..the widow headless bass is the stradivarius of all basses And I believe that anyone who plays it becomes a complete different pleayr...this one of a kind bass could make Europe go head over heels over a bass that could change the world forever

Nice bass but a few extra frets and rounded heel where neck meets body wouldn't have gone amiss to make this stand out from a stock Fender design.

Why does the style of bass matter for frets? More notes=more expression if you use it tastefully.

adding more frets changes the playability a lot. A P-Bass would not play or sound the same anymore, because some classical positions close to the neck would be impossible and produce different types of overtones. I'm personally not a huge fan of 24 fret basses in general

out of thousands of P basses there has to be at least one that you like. they can all vary a lot and how they look can deceive your perspective on them. I was like that, I realised I do not like most Fender P basses, but other p basses can be a world different.

I’m the same but I have tried out at least hundreds P basses (worked in a music shop) mostly Fenders from 1960 upwards but the only one I liked was the Fender Highway P bass, don’t know why but it just felt and sounded different.

I don't follow. I've had only 2 basses and BOTH were damn good after I did my setup. Which looks like you've skipped over judging by the saddle positions.

You can’t judge the intonation of a bass by looking at the saddles. It doesn’t work like that

@@basstheworldofficial I usually run the stew mac calculation for a ballpark based on the string specs. And yeah you are right obviously but it's been pretty rare that I've seen a finer core on say a B than and E in the same set but it happens. Still looks like a slapped together setup
