If the American list wasn't weird enough, the international list is beyond bizarre. Every other company seems to have an overall identity and vibe, even if their portfolio is diverse. The sum of all S&S coasters genuinely feel like four or five completely different coaster manufacturers that got combined in some kind of confusing merger.

Me: I’m so sad I didn’t get to go on Do-Dodonpa when we were living in Japan before it shut down! My husband: You’re sad you didn’t break your neck? Me: … yes? Also, you’re going to love Eejanaika when you go to Japan next year. I know how much you like X2 and it’s like that but smoother and with a kickass view of Mount Fuji.

Video ideas (sorry if these have already been done) -best specific seats, like you always mention 3rd row on Magnum. Back row, left seat on Afterburn is an example that stands out for me - best ride ops (specific rides, not parks). Maybe not the most exciting topic, but would be curious to hear. To shoutout another Carowinds ride, Fury is consistently phenomenal

The closest S&S coaster to me was the original one Hypersonic. I went to Kings Dominion around its opening season, but I was only about 4/5 years old then. Now it’s Tumbili, which I haven’t ridden yet. Other than that, I’ve only ever ridden Joker at Great Adventure.

Only 8 ish Months until my Japan trip and Eejanaika. I plan to get Thunder Dolphin, Flying DInosaur, Fujiyama(maybe finally a good Togo!) etc in- Steel Dragon might be a year after as its along way off the other places I am doing and I want to see the culture as well meaning I have to go North on the trains instead of South-its looking like Millenium Force or Fury 325 will be my first Gigas right now. On the actual coasters it seems like S&S is one of those ecclectic mixes but a lot of them packing a punch.

@@SkyliiTunes That one is obvious though. Plus it was the only reason why we even bothered with visiting the Park. The Mine Train just has no interesting or quirky qualities to it, we just never bothered with looking up who made it. Really, that thing is so generic and boring that it´s most interesting feature becomes the fact that it feels wrong that it was made by S&S in the first place.

I want to see more Tranan coasters. I've seen some awesome layouts in Planet Coaster with it. You should look at some of the modded Planet Coaster parks. Soooo freaking realistic and detailed. Might be some good content for the channel.

I'm still surprised that Tranan was just a prototype or proof of concept. Even if it's a capacity crapshoot, there should be like 2 or 3 these floating around in small regional parks in Europe and Asia. A Fawkes The Pheonix ride at USJ at least.

When will you be going back to Great Escape? I just rode Bobcat yesterday and it was so fun! There's a great ejector pop on the double down in the back row. Also I think that would be fun if you brought Sophie along as well since it's a more family style park.

it was one of 2 thrust air coasters. while they were similar to modern day S&S airlaunch coasters, the trains and track style were completely different. Also according to RCDB, Dododonpa and by extension Hypersonic XLC are marked separately as thrust air coasters rather than airlaunch coasters. Hope this helps clear up the confusion.

I rode eejanika for the first time today, a total of 4 times. All I can say is what the heck, this ride was better than advertised. Every element either puts extremely strong negative gs or positive gs, there are no dead spots on this ride either. It was sad to see the entire brake section of do-dodo now removed though :(.

The term "beyond vertical" is such a stupid roller coaster term, since THERE IS NOTHING MORE VERTICAL THAN 90 DEGREES! The steeper the faster the gravity powered acceleration! But "beyond" that: acceleration is slower. Not only that: so called "airtime" is hang time; which is completely different and cheaper than traditional airtime. Otherwise: anybody can beat Steel Vengeance's airtime with 4 items: two people, one chair and mountain climbing rope. It can easily be achieved with you tying me to a chair with mountain climbing rope and hanging me upside down from 27.3 seconds or more. That is LITERALLY hang time! As such it shouldn't be compared to coasters like Ghostrider, Fury 325, El Toro, Diamondback, The Cyclone, Behemoth and about 3,000 other coasters I forgot to mention.

@@Furyman325I'll make it short for you: "beyond vertical" is a coaster 'thusie misnomer; Nothing is "more vertical" than 90 degrees. Hang-time is overhyped; it isn't "stomach dropping" airtime, and can be achieved by trying someone into a chair w mountain climbing rope and held upside down.

@@Paolo8772 ahh okay. the reason it is called "beyond vertical" is because of if the angle is past -90 degrees, its BEYOND vertical. yes technically ifs not vertical and its not called "more vertical" 😭 also just my opinion hangtime is the best feeling on any coaster, its awsome being held there by ur lapbar and its very forceful. hangtime and airtime are completely different things saying its overhyped because it isnt airtime is kinda stupid avtually 😭 again its NOT airtime.

@@Furyman325 I'm glad you agree they're different things. But even if the terms "beyond" and "more than" are different; beyond IMPLIES "more than". As long as we know what it's supposed to mean (since the term is being used that way) is all that matters, but I still think it's an overhyped misnomer, even if we accept it. I'd've used the term "overhang drop" or "overhung drop" if there wasn't already a phrase attributed to it. In any case: I prefer some of them better than others.
