The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is not my favourite Zelda game. People laud it, praising it's story, dungeons and combat. I personally think everything else about it is so poorly done its not worth playing. It's been 8 years since I played it to completion though, so maybe it's time to give it another look and find some redeeming qualities in it.
Today we do the journey to Kakariko Village with the wagon quest and I don't think I need to say any more about it.

If I remember correctly, you should be able to freely warp after the water temple so having to run around everywhere should end soon

Hey MrA. The designers probably expected the player to get the Eldin wolf stone when doing the Twilight there. If you get it at that point, then it's on the way when you're getting the boots. This water temple is, in my opinion, the best in the series. I hope you have fun with it!

I do think the game is too restrictive with the over world in the early game, but I promise that you will enjoy it once you get the master sword! That will enable so much travel

Hey A-Game, here's A bit of a tip for you when you get to a certain part of the game, which will save you some time and spare you a headache. When you get to a puzzle involving two statues, press the following buttons in this order: Left, Down, Right, Right, Up, Left, Up, Up, Left, Down, Down, Right, and Up. You'll thank me.

This escort quest genuinely is one of my least favorite parts of this game. Trying to get through it the first time I played was a nightmare, and the second time wasn't much better. There's a lot to keep track of, and the controls are a pain.

I was just thinking, all this time you play this game and the things you can do in this game. Just imagine spending that time in other zelda games and the fun times you have and all the things you can do. Just a bit ridiculous. Another thing I thought about is the "ron swanson Throw Computer in Trash Meme" but instead of super Mario maker, put twilight princess HD on there😂. It will be used, because the game is sometimes trash🤣.

I just want to say... (SPOILER WARNING FOR SOME ITEMS AND OTHER STUFF) While TP DOES sort of open up after you get the Master Sword, there are still a few things that are SO ANNOYING about TP. For instance, when you do transform into a wolf, it isn't really that fun. They could have made being a wolf so much more interesting, but instead you feel like being a wolf isn't the best thing to do unless it's REQUIRED to progress the dungeon. Another thing. The coolest items ever, such as the Ball and Chain, the Dominion Rod, and the Spinner are only useful in extremely specific parts of the game. The Dominion Rod can't even be USED after the Temple of Time for a while. If the developers had used these items that are probably the best items in Twilight Princess, it would have been a lot better. Also, the Hidden Skills you get are practically useless. It's not very necessary to use them at all during the entirety of the game, and I wish there were a lot more enemies that required Hidden Skills to progress. Also the Two Statues puzzle right before the Master Sword. WHYYYY?!?! I spent, like 30 minutes on it before I realized how to get them in the best position! Sorry I ranted for so long. But it's true! Twilight Princess should be called out for its flaws, and while it is a great game in the dungeons, it's let down by the slow traveling process and how so many items are only useful in their dungeons. This is a mediocre game. Accept it and move on.

I actually really like the hidden skills - I’ve filmed a few episodes ahead and I legitimately love using them once I’ve unlocked them. Sure they’re not necessary but I prefer it to the same regular sword mechanics

Love your content A-Game, but it's wildly obvious you came into this playthrough telling yourself you don't like the game and it'll never redeem itself for you.

Sorry but it’s a bit hard for a game to redeem itself when every chance it is given to do so falls flat on its face. It’s had glimpses of great gameplay (which I have constantly praised when it’s there) but then absolutely marred by stupid game design choices. Everyone tells me though that after the master sword the game really opens up - so it better be *the best Zelda experience imaginable* for me to rate it as highly as the others.

@@MrAGame Personally, I don’t believe it’s a bad game at all. I believe it’s made for certain people, those who prefer more linear, story-driven games. It’s not made to be open world, and it’s an older game for an older console. Twilight Princess is basically the opposite of Breath of the Wild and Wind Waker, plus it does have a lot of problems, so it’s totally fair for you to hate on it. But it’s not really fair to assume/say that everyone who does love it is simply bias or blinded by nostalgia. People simply enjoy different kinds of games. 😊

@@TheCookiQueen I’ve never said it’s a bad game, I just think for a Zelda game it’s by far the worst one of the lot. If you love the game then great, but for me Im pointing out that its design of linearity and story driven elements *continuously* hurt its gameplay, which personally I think is the most important aspect of a video game, especially for a series like Zelda. 8-10 hours of being continuously being hampered by crummy restrictions just to shoehorn in a good story *is not fun for me*

@@MrAGame That is completely fair and I respect your opinion. Personally, I don’t mind the restrictions for some reason, but I understand why they can be so frustrating. On the bright side, the temples and boss fights are great! Ahem, most of them, at least… Anyway, I wish you the best of luck lol
