Lots of respect for that dude - really secure and strong on the inside - trusted her with no suspicion UNTIL things made it obvious. And no vengeance on his mind - he wasn't out for revenge- so D wss wrong - they didn't prevent an accident and jail time from happening when it was never going to happen in the first place. And even if they did - those with vengeance on their mind would've come back when the timing was better.

I think D and Yami "blocking" did prevent drama. Let's say they got out of the car and headed straight for "the restaurant". The fella would have, not necessarily, but more than likely, try and talk with Paul, it would likely have turned into a fight, tableware, glassware everywhere (sounds like sit-down restaurant), restaurant busted up, Fella and Paul would have gone to jail. With that comes court dates, fees and fines. Probably anger management classes. Possible loss of job for Paul, possible civil suits from "the restaurant" for damages, loss of business and revenue for that day. All over a chick who ain't worth 2 nickels. He may not have had vengeance in his heart but it would have come out had he not been "blocked" by D and Yami, I'm tellin' ya.

Wow, wow. Talk about timing. The couple were pissed coming out of the car from jump. After discussion with Yami and D, Fella said things changed a couple of months prior when he'd already been a customer at "the restaurant" prior to her, and, with intuition, baiting her into "getting something to eat" to get answers. So Yami checking in her phone with the pictures of lover and her in bed, obviously, solidified his intuition. Had D and Yami not been there to do loyalty test it would have been a bad day for everybody. God does work in mysterious ways.
