Fun fact: In the comics, it was Aaron and Jesus that killed Beta. In the show, it made more sense for Negan and Daryl to end Beta.

In the comics, when this arc ended, there were still 25 out of 193 issues left. It's not like they're actively milking out the last season, they would've needed at least another season and a half anyway.

Beta was pretty cool as a character. They say in your final moments you reveal who you really are. And he was devoted to the cause until the end. Even smiling in his final moments. A little sad to see him go. Way sadder than Alpha. But now that they're both gone, the Storm Troopers have arrived.

This isn’t the season 10 finale actually, they added 6 more episodes to season 10 that will air in early 2021, then season 11 in late 2021

Damn, this show started when I was a 10 year old kid. We've come a long way. In the beginning I was interested in the gore the earlier seasons provided, but as I got more and more mature, so did the show. Amazing! Look at me, a 20 year old student coming close to seeing the ending of such a long journey.

Beta actually imagined pulling out the knives. Its quick but if you rewatch you'll see that Deryl actually pulled them out

I'm glad Maggie's back! It was sad when Carol had to let Beatrice get torn apart by walkers. I loved the way Daryl killed Beta, the two knives in both eyes was epic.

9:59 The "Native American girl" is not Native American at all. It's just the lighting of the shot that makes her seem a bit darker. She's Rachel, the Oceansider who had a "feud" with Tara when she was a little girl, and Tara would always give her the finger. After the time jump in season 9, they replaced the actress for someone older.

I love the character focused moments, like it's not all zombie killing and action, we get also really good heartwarming emotional moments. ❤

Those stormtroopers are the army of the next and last named group. Knowing how the comic ended, the show absolutely needs at least one more season to adapt the last arc and wrap everything up without it feeling rushed like GoT did.

Good reaction, this was a Masterpiece to me, I absolutely loved Lydias story and her and Carols scenes, and loved that Negan went out there to help(even though he didn’t kill Beta himself he did distract him enough for Daryl to kill him), also really thought Gabriel was donzo, but Maggie and the mystery bada** saved him, the shot when Lydia threw Alphas mask and it was falling with the walkers was literal perfection, also it was poetic and beautiful the way Beta died and the scene was absolutely stunning, also Daryl was paying back Negan for saving his life earlier in the season, also there are 6 bonus episode currently in production for season 10 (making it a total of 22 episodes) and than season 11 is gonna be 24 episodes so there are 30 total episodes left

Maggy's crew wasn't specifically "the others", she's just the one of "the others"... It's obvious from Gabriel's dialogue over the opening and the montage that's it's a broader reference to all their friends that are out in the wild, "the ones that aren't here, those that might find us help, or come here and help" Eugene's crew going to meet his bae's community, Island-man arriving back at Oceanside, Aaron and Alden meeting the Black Noir guy, and Maggy with her Georgie hook up... they're all the others... Michonne, Morgan and Heath too.

I’ve got to say as somebody that reads the comics I was fairly disappointed with how many things they took out of this finale. By no means was it a bad episode but I was definitely expecting quite a bit more especially in terms of big open field battle and the Beta fight was honestly pathetic considering Carl and Ron had a longer fight...

As far as Virgil goes, I think he came to Oceanside because it was the one place he knew that had people. Instead he found it empty and found the kingdom. Possibly got the horse from Oceanside too. I don't expect anymore heel stuff from him. It's possible but I doubt it.

Beta had a much better end in the TV show than in the comics period. I'm glad they ended it here rather than keep him alive only to be killed off randomly next season.

Season 1016 is pretty great the way they killed off Beta was pretty cheap and easy it was a good cheap and easy the craziest thing is that he finally found his fans.

My theory is next season Maggie will ask about michonne which will lead Judith into telling everyone where she went and who she’s looking for and the last season will be the group setting out to find them and of course reuniting in the final episode.

In the comics: Gabe wasn’t supposed to survive. He was actually a sniper on patrol and sees the horde, but falls and breaks his leg on the ladder of a billboard. Beta then walks over and guts him open and the horde rips him to shreds. I thought they were gonna stay true to the comics and kill him off with his final stand, but seeing the masked person and Maggie return was still bad ass.

I will say Beta’s death was better than it was in the comics. He went out like a real punk in the books. However, the last arc of the walking dead is a slow burn and without certain key players either being dead or taken out of the show at this point, I feel like the final season of the walking dead may be a bit of a dud to end on. Y'all should really give the new spin-off a chance, the first episode was way better than the first episode of Fear. It definitely has a different vibe and it's not super slow paced.
