I cried so hard here getting flashbacks of Negan killing Abraham and Glenn. Then I cried harder when Daryl showed up saving the day. I was so happy.

This scene is beautiful. Negan finally realizes how Maggie has to go through when he killed Glenn.

this was a real arc for negan because he experianced the fear he gave rick and the rest

I honestly don't have anything against Annie. But killing her alone would have been the perfect justice against Negan for all the people he murdered in front of their families. Not saying it would be right for Annie to die, but it would be fair as well as preventing Negan's bloodline from continuing.

Leave it to the king, man. Ezekiel. Showed negan what a group build on trust is like.

This episode is very heartwarming and Negan have really changed into a better person.

I cried during this scene because although Negan did the same thing to Maggie and the rest of their people and actually killed Glenn and Abraham, Ezekiel chose to change the outcome of karma towards Negan so he can understand mercy

I think this moment was essential for negan's redemption

The writers nailed Negan's story and made it even better than the comics' story. He became a cult member, then killed Glenn, Abraham and now he sees what he did, he knows what a horrible and unhuman thing he did cause even if Rick's group killed innocents, Glenn was a wrong pick for him to teach everyone a lesson. He cried in front of Maggie multiple times, he sees what she sees in him, the bat that killed the most precious human-being in her life, he burned Lucille just to feel a little less of a guilt, he put his humanity inside his bat as a copingmechanism, and now realises the pain he caused with it and now the people willing to die for him and as he sees that his look tells everything "Confusion and sorrow". Even tough they are not Rick's group or weren't there that day, this scene is so beautifully made and it was mandatory cause after this scene Negan tells Maggie "When I was begging for my wife's life, and I was down on my knees I realised how you could've felt that day and Maggie... I am so-- so sorry for what I did to you..." Peak.

I gotta say...it's a little satisfying seeing him beg like plenty of folks begged him to spare them and their loved ones.

Some people have to experience something themselves to finally have empathy for others. It's his personality type. I do wonder if Rick's group would have done this for him lol

I like how the second he lost control of the situation he starts acting petty “you’re not gonna do what I say? Fine, I’ll do it myself”

So this scene is impactful. But you know what would have made it more been more impactful? If some of the remaining people that were originally put in Negan’s line up stood in front. Showing that Rick’s whole philosophy that Hershel started, the idea that we get to come back from all of the things we did and the people we had to become to survive. Even Negan can come back and showing people willing to defend him when no one from Negan’s group tried to defend Rick’s would’ve shown such a strong parallel all these years later.

Zeek is definitely what Glenn would have been. Full of heart and vision.

As a person who just finished TWD I gotta say... I loved season 11. I don't understand the hate it gets. People are complaining that it isn't like the old TWD, well the old TWD was situated in a different time, with different problems and different places. The new TWD is exploring problems humans may encounter in big surviving communities and their attempts to rebuild. Thus, the new TWD can't be the same as the old TWD.

Then out of nowhere Daryl pops up 😂

"I was just following orders" With a happy ending. Cowardice is contagious, but so is bravery. It's a fiction, but it applies to real world. That one soldier saying "no" is all it took for the rest to find the bravery to do the right thing. Except that one prick who was too invested in The Narrative.

I'll be honest, maybe the people will hate me for this, but tell you what, no matter what he did to Glenn and many others, he really changed and really did something good for the people around him lately and his wife did not deserve to die

To just survive is not enough, we must be worthy of survival, and we can only do that by holding on to the best of our ideals: Compassion, Mercy, Justice, Helping those who can't help themselves. If the shit goes down and all we do is grab weapons and hold on to our own little pile of nothing, then we will be the Walking Dead. And we will deserve our end.

I find it heart-warming not only did almost all of the troops lower their weapons, but one even defended the innocents. 100 speech is op.
